I'm a 31 y/o female, 4'11', 120lbs and I've been throwing up everything I eat or drink (no exceptions) for going on almost 4 years now. I've been to several doctors and specialists. I do not have an eating disorder, nor a food allergy, or ulcer/hernia. I've done the scopes, food diets, life style changes, oodles of food and stress diaries. It doesn't seem to matter how much or little I eat, what I eat, when, how fast.

You could have gastric problems, hyperthyroidism and other medical conditions that make it nearly impossible to gain weight, especially if you are TRYING to eat a lot and failing to gain weight.

Day 6 without a pill and today I throw up after I brush my teeth,I would have thought that would happen on day 1/2 or 3 not 6.

I had this problem for years and it actually started as a kid. Finally, what I did was take medication to stop the throwing up. I had to force myself to eat. I took medication for 1 year and it helped. I still can throw up very easily and probably always will be able to. Remember that throwing up totally wears the enamel off of your teeth. If you do not eat, you lose your hair on your head and grow body hair. It is terrible to rob your body of the food it needs.

No i have not had my gallbladder removed. But i will set up an appointment my physician (because of my insurance i have to go to her first and than she sends me to what ever specialist is appropriate). But thank you cause i have just always assumed it was from smoking and it was just a minor incontinence that i had to deal with from time to time.

I went to the store today to pick up some different can food. Even soft treats. Picked up some fancy feast broth. He's not big on human food so I'm pretty limited even on a healthy day. I also got some kitten formula just to see if he would drink it because he will drink Human milk. All the vet gave me medicine wise was some oral medicine for his teeth in case he has an infection and told me to use a little pepto. The shot for the vomiting, which didn't help.

Try eating foods that dont really need to be chewed for a start then work your way up to training your gums to 'chew' food. My mom doesnt have teeth and she can actually eat pretty much anything now except for corn on the cob for obvious reasons lol. You just gotta start with basics: potatoes, bananas, soups, pastas are usually easy to eat with no teeth, cooked veggies like carrorts peas and beans usually dont need to be chewed much either.

My 5-year-old neutered, male indoor cat is throwing up dark brown bile. It's happened once or twice a day for the last week (I have 4 cats, so it took me a while to figure out who was sick). It's about a quarter size of bile at a time. I haven't changed his diet (he's on specially formulated food for urinary tract health) and he seems to be eating and drinking fine. However, he looks like he's lost a little weight. He's still happy and playful.

Thanks PK, I think I'm going to try a change in her diet and see if that helps. She never gets hairballs, I guess because she's not a long haired cat. She probably just has a sensitive stomach. She does tend to throw up every time I take her to the vet too. We'll try to find something that works and I'll let you all know, thanks.

Ghilly, I actually tried feeding Jake 4 times a day. All that happened was that he started throwing up about 30 minutes to each prior meal...so I had 4 times a day to clean puke rather than just twice a day. For some reason I can't fathom, a dog biscuit doesn't seem to have this same effect. If he gets his 2 normal sized meals, he doesn't vomit in anticipation of a biscuit.

They took out 1/2 of my stomach, due to it was lack of blood flow and part of it died. I have been throwing up sence the surgery. I am still throwing up. I throw up at least 3 or 4 times a day. Most people who die from bulimia die because their heart stops after throwing up. This is because you lose a large amount of electrolytes all at once, which is what controls your heart's ability to contract. Thankfully, that was enough to scare me out of it, and I've never done it again. That was about 5 years ago. I've now taken up healthier ways of controlling my weight (such as going to the gym in moderation.) Now...the long-term damage. At age 22 I thought my body was fine.

Yes it can happen because it happened to me while I was at my job a couple of weeks ago. I went to the ER because I was throwing up about 6 to 7 times a day and instead of gaining weight I lose weight and I was dizzy and had headache because I was dehydrated and my potassium was low.

to see if it helps because i did that last night and i felt really nauseated before bed again but didnt end up throwing up probably because i didnt have to worry about brushing my teeth... i have to brush my teeth but what can i do if its going to keep causing me to puke at night.. at least tonight it wasnt my dinner that came up but its so upsetting to me anyone else experience random vomiting in the 3rd trimester and any tips would be great.

s just 3 of them. You need to get into an eating disorder clinic, go to your doctor, HONEY, you have got to get help. Blood indicated a very advanced disorder. It's not good. GET HELP!!!!!!

Yes it's normal to lose weight while pregnant. I lost weight the first trimester and my doctor didn't worry as long as baby is growing. Just eat healthy and stay active! !

most times when I brush my teeth it gives me this mouth watering feeling and once I'm done brushing I have to immediately throw up it happened with my first child though

yes he could have eaten something outside that didn't agree with him. but I really suspect a hairball, the food treatment for these doesn't really work that well. and if its liquid he's bringing up it could be because if theres a blockage and he can't get it up to remove it(hairball) it would be irritating and he'd keep choking to try, the liquid would be 'bile' bypassing.

Women who tend to weight more dont always gain wait. Or they will lose it. As long as you are eating enough of what you should be then I honestly wouldn't worry too much. But I'd def ask your doctor.
