Avatar f tn If you just want to lose some weight for you try to eat healthy and domt eat sweets bread etc !!
Avatar n tn We as a species are hunter gatherers, our bodies are made for walking all day, slow and steady will not help you lose weight! That Jillian Michaels has some excellent cross-training/circuit training workouts. I also read that we get used to the # of calories we eat too, that we adapt and go into "starvation mode" if the body notices we are dieting. I think thats why diets like weight watchers have a day where you can eat more.
Avatar f tn d rather get fat then throw up every day.
Avatar f tn s something stuck in the back of my throat like food or something and this fear has caused me to not eat as much and make me lose some weight ( not that there was a lot of weight to lose.) Can someone please help me..
Avatar f tn You could have gastric problems, hyperthyroidism and other medical conditions that make it nearly impossible to gain weight, especially if you are TRYING to eat a lot and failing to gain weight.
660974 tn?1248272668 I used to work out 2 hours a day. Still no weight loss. I try to keep my caolries to 1200 or less a day. I keep cutting more and more out of my diet and now life has become very boring. What am I doing wrong?
Avatar f tn The next thing is to figure out the ratio for yourself as far as the amount of calories you are putting in relative to the amount of exercise you are getting and are able to lose weight. 1 to 2 pounds a week is plenty. The key is slow and steady weight loss. This is the best way to lose weight and keep it off forever because this is not a diet, it is a way of life. With the working out, you will build muscle which will make it seem like you are not losing weight for a while.
Avatar f tn Though you lose weight, the weight loss is not healthy. Yes, there are drugs to treat morbid obesity, which work more or less on similar principles but in a more scientific way, and are useful only in those really obese. Hence, personally, I wouldn't recommend any such pills. If you want to lose weight, then you must do it the scientific way for long term benefits, healthy glow, and a good physique and body.
Avatar n tn It just seems that she is ignoring the fact that I am gaining at an alarming rate and unable not matter what to lose any weight. I feel I have to reach the point of obesity before being help? The latest diagnosis was that I may just have to live with, I certainly don't agree with that. Any suggestions ~ yes I plan to change doctors as the last time I saw her she suggested I cut back on how much I am eating apparently ~ so much for listening skills.
Avatar f tn Is it normal to lose weight? I've had nausea and vomiting for the past three weeks, it's not an everyday thing though. I'll throw up one day and won't throw up till like 3 days later. I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and my weight when I found out I was pregnant was 127. Now I weigh 122.
9571159 tn?1419571005 Sometimes you just gotta suck it up. I was prescribed w Zofran but only taken it once and sucked it up the rest of pregnancy. That's a part of being pregnant!
Avatar f tn I'm trying to lose weight by my 17th birthday,in September, and no matter how much I try or how much I exercise I am not losing. For example yesterday I was 74.2 kg, today I'm 76.
7606649 tn?1392686521 Your not supposed to diet while pregnant to lose weight, but if your changing your lifestyle to be healthy for baby and just so happen to lose weight then that's ok. As long as your not cutting calories or exercising vigorously, and just continue to eat healthy, drink lots of water & stay active you should keep your weight gain to a minimum.
Avatar f tn Approximately three months ago I started making myself throw up if I overate any at all. I usually throw up at least once a day sometimes twice. I've tried to stop but for some reason I can't!! I even talked to my husband about it and he's been trying to help but I will still sneak around him. Is there anything I can do to get this under control?
Avatar m tn v only been tracking since the 1st of Dec. This diet is however much different that I used to eat before I started trying to lose weight on Nov 30th.
9877471 tn?1410981088 So I was attempting to throw up and with my spit it looked like blood came out. Is that normal III t wasn't a lot but I'm concerned. Should I be?
Avatar f tn Yea I'm sorry to hear that yall throw up like everyday I would really hate to go through that I do feel sick to my stomach everyday though...
Avatar f tn I am 9wks and losing weight..... Not a lot like a lb here and there but still losing....
Avatar n tn Well, I know I'll probably get bashed for this, but grains are NOT the way to go for weight loss. All you are doing with your current diet is reducing your caloric intake. Sure, that will ensure that you will have some calorie deficit but I don't believe that it is the best or healthiest option.
Avatar n tn For the past six months, I have been trying to lose weight. I run 3-4 miles, four or five days a week. I work 25-30 hours a week, where I am on my feet constantly, and have school 15 hours a week. I do strength training once or twice a week, for 30 minute increments. I eat very healthy of the time - lots of fruits and veggies and whole grains - though I do overindulge every once in a while.
Avatar f tn Thanks for your advice:) And I know it's not healthy to throw up food, I just get impulses and can't stop thinking about what and how much I ate. I've never really had problems with eating and food in the past, I've was always thin until early last year, and before I knew it, I'd gone from like 8 stone to 11 7 in a few months. Even though I'm back in the 8s now, I don't see thin, and I certainly don't feel it.
Avatar n tn I am going my waight every month...
Avatar f tn i desperately want to lose weight and tone up. finding it hard to keep up exercising.
Avatar f tn First of all, don't stress about the situation your in now. That's how most people gain weight, by stressing out. You shouldn't worry about what brand of food you eat when you try to loose weight. When I lost 30lbs I just ate healthier, balanced meals. Lay off chips and soft drinks, and candy. Those are things that don't benefit you. Also, excerxise more often.
935532 tn?1244903992 s important to have a good sense of what you are trying to accomplish by losing weight, exercising, or eating more healthy - that can sometimes rev you up and get you thinking about it a little more carefully. I think that some good places to start might include a food diary - check out my recent blog post for some more solutions that could work for you. All the best.
