And the Pharmacist was doubly surprised since these new prescription's followed on the heals of the Prednisone ( 10 mg x 3 for 4 days, 10 mg x 2 for 4 days, 10 mg x 1 for 4 days ), which was proceeded by a prescription of Sulfamethoxazole/Tmp 800-160 Tabs twice a day for 14 days. Facial infection is gone, but rash only keeps getting worse.

I have used terbinafine cream for a week and my fungal infection almost went away.but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???

Hi doctor, Two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with ringworms near my groin area and on my penis. I've been taking Terbinafine tablets and applying terbinafine cream, and it's been slowly improving. But I think the rash has spread to my fingers. The area between my fingers and near my nails is very dry and crusty, sometimes giving off a transparent liquid. There are small bumps on my fingers as well, and there's a constant urge to itch. Its been there for the past 3 days.

ketoconazole, fluconazole, itraconazole, terbinafine ( I have tried these 4 drugs in oral and topical form) I have also tried selsun shampoo and all of these have failed. I was wondering if there was anymore hope for me? Is there anymore antifungal pill I can take? Due to my rash not responding well to 3 azole antifungals does this mean it won't respond to any of the other azole antifungals? And are there anyother antifungal that are effective that arnt azole? For the past 2 yrs i have had off and on a hot itchy feeling on my scrotum and no where else.I have to scratch till its raw and I have used prescription creams and powders and non irritating soaps to try and get rid of it .I also get about 2 to 3 scabs sometimes that i end up scratching off and they hurt. I also get an itchy feeling like it seems up my pee hole. Sometime at night i wake up and my scrotum feels very hot , I have to remove the blanket till it cools .

and apparently it is darker on the perimeter.I am giving it a therapeutic trial diagnosis of taking Terbinafine Tablets(250 mg) for 4 weeks. I am just into therapy having finished 3 days (3 tabs of 250 mg).......no visible difference so far.... Any comments / suggestions ?

My husband and I going through the exact same thing. I've had about 20ish spots all over my body, that seems to fade but not entirely go away (For a month and a week, going on two weeks) Although I started Oral Meds late, I'm on day 6 of Terbinafine. I've been taking it day by day. Who would have thought Ringworm would suck so bad :(. We ended up getting it from 2 rescue kittens. They seem to kind of fade, but I can still see them.

To my knowledge there is no legitimate source for obtaining T3 in the US without a prescription. If I may ask, why are you interested in T3 only. Also, are you not able to get a script from your doctor?
