The physicians sayed it was eczema. The gave me diprosone and oral cortisone.

I've had about 20ish spots all over my body, that seems to fade but not entirely go away (For a month and a week, going on two weeks) Although I started Oral Meds late, I'm on day 6 of Terbinafine. I've been taking it day by day. Who would have thought Ringworm would suck so bad :(. We ended up getting it from 2 rescue kittens. They seem to kind of fade, but I can still see them.

Our pediatrician didn't feel comfortable prescribing oral medication, so we went to a dermatologist who gave him Griseofulvin.

Two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with ringworms near my groin area and on my penis. I've been taking Terbinafine tablets and applying terbinafine cream, and it's been slowly improving.
But I think the rash has spread to my fingers. The area between my fingers and near my nails is very dry and crusty, sometimes giving off a transparent liquid. There are small bumps on my fingers as well, and there's a constant urge to itch. Its been there for the past 3 days.
Jock itch is treated with one of two types of antifungal medications — miconazole/ clotrimazole or terbinafine. Generally, terbinafine require a shorter treatment time, while azoles are less expensive but require longer treatment time.

The main findings were that for reduced fungus, terbinafine was found to be significantly better than itraconazole and griseofulvin, and terbinafine was better tolerated than itraconazole.

What you have read is correct. You could discuss this finding with your doctor and get him to prescribe it for you. Since the treatment is long-term it is better to go with onr which is tolerated better by the body.
It could be jock itch which is fungal. Look up information about it and let me know if that matches what you're experiencing. If so, you can use an antifungal for jock itch. To prevent this a good (and cheap) solution is corn starch.

The information you all have provided here is greatly appreciated and not to mention very informative. I'm working on learning everything I can to help two people actually. Ive had 2 biopsy not cancer. Dr thinking fungus . I was on antibiotics and am currently taking Terbinafine 250mg and Ketoconazole 200mg pill and cream and wash . I recently had a tooth pulled and gum filled with puss. maybe that was hindering my healing. so frustrated and worried.
