I have had the same problem for quite some time. I'll use lotrimun powder spray and baby powder every morning and evening after washing, it does the trick. But during the summer when sweating is inevitable, the jock itch will return. I haven't found a permanate cure for my case, but you'll find the "jock itch" powder spray + baby powder can keep it dry for quite come time. Try it.

All the redness and everything else is gone, but if I look at the skin from the side, I can still see the "circles" (in slightly different skin tone) where the fungi was located... does it mean that I'll have to keep on applying the cream for longer till I don't see those circles?

been almost two weeks now. Calomine lotion and baby powder seem to help the most without burning me. Other things burn and when i wash with an antibacterial soap that kind of sooths it but I feel a burning till I dry off.
ve been puttin anti-itch powder such as Gold Bond body power but only works for a little bit. It only has been getting worse for the past 6 months. If anyone has any info or treatment, please reply.

Till then, you should keep the area clean, wear lose comfortable clothes to avoid sweating, use a powder to keep the area dry and use calamine lotion at the sites. Oral antihistamine medications would help if the lesions are itchy.

I have been dealing with redness and irritation on the area where my vagina and inner thighs meet. It is red and VERY ITCHY and has been for a while. I have applied alcohol and witch hazel. They of course burned and were drying. I have applied A&D ointment and Gold Bond powder which are both cooling and soothing until it gets warm. I have also applied Shea Butter and continued the gold bond powder. This has gone on for a while and I am not sure what else to do.

i searched on internet and found it to be jock itch.i put some baby powder for some days and then neosporin for few more days.then after two weeks i went to a doctor who said it was fungal infection.he wrote t.curis i guess it meant the same as jock itch.he told me to take the medcine levocetrizine tablet of 3 or 5mg(i forgot) for 1 week avery night after dinner,terbinafine tablet Terbest 250 for for weeks after every meal and the ketoconazole cream ketanol.
