All my symptoms point to Black Piedra and I was in Chennai India for 10 days but that was 2 years ago. No fungal treatment over the last 3 months is working. My head has been shaved for 2 months but the black crust keeps growing out covering the hair from inside the follicle. When my hair was longer it felt like grains of sand but nothing would ever fall out.
2016-I contracted a fungal infection in mid June. I think a ate a wet cake slice which had soaked in a water bowl for a day in my fridge.A week later the smallest toenail of my left leg was black/Green.This was on 9 June so I started flucanazole 150 mg once a week.It proved ineffective after 3 weeks as the Fungus had started to grow in my groin.Doubled the fluca and ate it twice a week.It was ineffective still.So I ate fluca 2 weeks straight (once every day).
Another thought is trying the Terbinafine spray on the outside (not in the vagina) just to see if it works for about a week or two and if it does then you know you have to get a internal type for the vagina too or anal area. Terbinafine (Lamisil) can be used for jock itch and the private areas so it should be okay.
Please let me know is there any well experienced doctor available at hyderabad to consult for piles and skin problem?

What you have read is correct.
The dermatologist prescribed me Ketoconazole, Triamcinolone and Terbinafine. Been using for a week and it is no better in fact it burns and itches more at night. Alone with this I was using some antifungal soap. Any ideas on what this might be? Is it Red Scrotum Syndrome caused from the hydrocortisone? This has been going on for 6 weeks now and it's no better.

hi all....actually I live in Northern India and it has very warm and humid during this period of year....So I sweat a lot....I shaved my groin area few days back and noticed whitish/discolored skin in my groin area....before shaving I was having problem of etching but not so frequently.....now its not such....can somebody give me an idea of what is happening....??
Ive had 2 biopsy not cancer. Dr thinking fungus . I was on antibiotics and am currently taking Terbinafine 250mg and Ketoconazole 200mg pill and cream and wash . I recently had a tooth pulled and gum filled with puss. maybe that was hindering my healing. so frustrated and worried.
FYI, terbinafine is Lamisil cream. Terbinafine is the generic name. Otherwise, you will have to see a doctor.
my doctor perscribed me to terbinafine orals at 250mg once a day for 2 weeks. I have read that this does not work on versicolor is this true?
Hello! My son is 4month 10days today. My son was born in indonesia and uptill 3months he had his vacvinations in indonesia itself. Since one month i have come to india for vaccation and his 4month vaccination for DTP- HIB and Polio is pending. I m concerned about getting him vaccinated here in india as brand for vaccination will be different from indonesia.

I have used terbinafine cream for a week and my fungal infection almost went away.but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???
Immediately I started applying Lamisil (terbinafine) every morning till today. All the redness and everything else is gone, but if I look at the skin from the side, I can still see the "circles" (in slightly different skin tone) where the fungi was located... does it mean that I'll have to keep on applying the cream for longer till I don't see those circles?
I have what appears to be small dirt-like objects embedded into the palms of my hands. I also notice that I am itchy in certain parts of my body frequently (My lower back, insides of knees) I also tend to get pimples on my scalp frequently. I am 28 years old and keep good hygiene. My husband and I going through the exact same thing. I've been taking it day by day. Who would have thought Ringworm would suck so bad :(. We ended up getting it from 2 rescue kittens. They seem to kind of fade, but I can still see them.
I was taking Terbinafine and my dosage was one pill a day for 7 days each quarter. So a week in Nov, Feb, Mar, and finished in Aug 2017. Then my blood work was in Oct 2017. I can't seem to get anyone to tell me what I need to do - if anything. I know worry is unproductive - but that is all I can do right now.
