terbinafine hcl side effects

Hi, I recently had smegma , fungal infection and psoriasis, doctor prescribed me Terbinafine hcl 250mg and Ocan-B. I found out its a steroid cream i replaced it with Clotrimazole. Fungal infection and smegma is gone but one side of the penis goes grey, purple color at times, how can i cure this ?

Have you any thoughts on how long after stopping taking Terbinafine and you would expect the side effects would start to ease off?

I have treated it with Ketaconazole creme, hydrocortisone creme, Fluconazole tablets, and now terbinafine HCL tablets and nothing has worked... I have read types of yeast infections (candida Glabrata) can be resistant to many of these drugs..The rash does not bother me a ton, I can live with it, its the ability to potentially pass it on that scares me and is causing me bad anxiety. My question is: after all these treatments, what kind of doctor can i see?

you can discuss with your doctor about starting only half the starting dose initially to give you some assurance of its side effects. paxil can be sedating so most people take it at night. the top 3 side effects are headahces, nausea and sexual dysfunction. all of these resolve over time as the body becomes accustomed to the new medication.

I already know how the medicine is suppose to work,what I wanted to know is how safe it is to take long term,or at all.I read all the side effects and I am not sure I want to try it.It scares me,one of the side effects is to your heart,and I read on line of people dying from it.Need more info.

I am having some severe side effects concerning short term memory loss, irritability, and fatigue. I have taken Ibuprofen 800mg, nortriptyline HCL 25mg, promethazine 25mg, acetaminophen COD#3, cycmbalta 30mg, pamelor 25mg, cyclobenzarrine 10mg, hydrocodone 500mg, methycprednisolone 4mg, tramadol HCL 50 mg, and viagra 100mg. My question is will any of the medications i was subscribed or taken in combination have symptons of severe memory loss?

I have used terbinafine cream for a week and my fungal infection almost went away.but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???

m now switching over to oral Griesofulvin as the side effects of oral Terbinafine are pretty much unbearable (resembles a cold but with more sneezing ; at times I also get 'breathless' ie my mind feels that my breaths are not supplying O2 to my brain---wierd is'nt it ?).

Recently I went for a checkup and my doctor gave me Metformin for weight loss (It suddently went up to 99 kg though I was at 85 before and was following a strict diet plan). I have been diagnose with a skin fungus infection (dermamytocosis) and the dermatologist has prescribed Lamisil (terbinafine hydrochloride) very strong tablets with quite a few side effects. I would like to try natural alternatives like apple cider vinegar but could the infection spread out or perhaps can resolved by itself over time. Will I be prone to get fungus infections in the future?

lots of psyc drugs cause nasty side effects and nasty withdrawls. Ive been on zoloft for five years and have liked it because for me it had no side effects. these meds react with people differently. I have GAD and am getting off zoloft bc I need something stronger but it helped with low- moderate anxiety and my depression.

Hello, For fungal infection, firstly you have to use the topical antifungal therapy. The oral antifungal therapy is not without side effects and is available by prescription. For that a dermatologist needs to be consulted. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

You missed the most important measure. The heart rate. A blood pressure measurement without a heartrate is meaningless. A drop to 58/47 is unacceptable. There are also "missing pieces" in the reasons why the various meds are prescribed. I think Gabapentin is a medication with many side effects that is overprescribed, but that's an opinion of one. I can see no reason for prescribing Gabapenton for numb hands.

All medications have so many side effects. Asprin can effect liver function as well. It sounds like you are having a problem with mold growing and only a doctor can treat it. I really hope this helps!

Im going exactly throught tha same type of Skin problem and just on my 5th days on Terbinafine but concerned about the side effects it can have on my liver...even if they are rare it is still concerning and I dont want to continue on the medication if it not going to be a fungul skin infection. My Patch started as a small red mark on my stomach areas and grew about 6" x 3 ..pretty large but I have no symptoms, no rash.
