Co has been subpoenaed by the US Department of Justice as part of a criminal investigation into marketing practices for three prescription medicines.
The products in question are Temodar (temozolomide) for brain cancer and hepatitis C and cancer drugs PegIntron (pegylated interferon alfa-2b) and Intron A (interferon alfa-2b), according to Merck's just-published quarterly report. All three of the drugs were acquired when Merck bought Schering-Plough in 2009.
We know the tumor is in a slightly different area than it was originally. He is in treatment (Temodar for the second time) for the third recurrence of his tumor. We have always been told it is in an area where surgery has not been an option. The oncologist does say he believes it is a higher grade. We think he believes it is glioblastoma but he won't say that definitely without doing another biopsy.
Since the diagnosis of Glioblastoma grade 4 in August, my husband has had the tumor removed and completed the round of radiation and chemotherapy - temodar. Recently I have noticed him being very short fused and argumentative. The slightest thing sets him off as if he had been personally attack. I have also noticed depression setting in. I'm assuming this is all part of the treatment and diagnosis.
A month ago my husband (41) had a tumor resection of a GBM in the left temporal/frontal lobe. He is still recovering from surgery and has begun cancer treatment (temodar& radiation) a week ago. He has a previous accident injury where he has struggled with neck pain for ten years. He has been on suboxone for probably 7 years now. He is currently taking his suboxone but is not getting any relief for his head pain.
How can he not expect me to b disrespectful. But yes my mouth has nothing to do with seeing the arrival of his son. But men r immature.
Patient made decision to treat his anaplastic astrocytoma with surgery and Temodar only. No radiation! What is the prognosis for this 33 yr.old male.
Ok so as I said in my previous post dat I will b trying castor oil n update u guys...so last nite 11 pm I took 1 teaspoon castor oil in half cup of warm milk with saffron n slept. Around 12:30 mild contractions started which were on n off till 3. No diarrhoea nothing. I was comfortable. But pain wasn't strong enough for me to go into labour.i guess either my cervix isn't ready yet or castor oil dose was less. Will b doing the same thing tonite also. Hope for the best...
One thing I can tell you is beware of certain chemos, like temodar , it can cause lukemia in people with NF, and radiation is also a no go for people with NF. Good luck.

If there is a hole it needs to be surgically repaired. Only a proper evaluation by an ENT specialist can help assess the extent and depth of the hole and then appropriate therapy can be planned. You will need to consult your primary care physician for evaluation, who may then refer you to an ENT specialist.

The burning may also be accompanied by some tingling, but not in some cases. The groin may start to ache or you could aches and joint pains in any part of that body. The pain could extend down as far as the knee, but in most cases it just stays in one area. To treat it, relax a little more with a cold compress for about 20 minutes or so then switching to a warm compress for another 15 minutes. The doctor may also give you a cortizone shot in that area to ease pain.
I know it's going to get darker and darker!! I know this is it for you! And don't worry, I wouldn't have been able to wait either!! ;) I'm actually not monitering my cycle this month. We did our first round of follistim and iui last cycle, had 8 mature follies of which 6 released. So at my CD 3 u/s this cycle it showed 2 cysts, so we werent' able to take any meds this month. I did have an u/s last Monday on CD 26, and it showed my lining was only at 5.
ve now been through radiation and temodar, consults with Dr. Prados at UCSF. The tumor was still growing at last month's MRI. Now I'm on IV chemo, Avastin and cpt 11. Next MRI is in a week and we''ll see.
I'm so scared. I'm married, no kids, love my husband and can't bear having to say goodbye to him and all my beloved friends.
I don't know how to run my house any more.
Back labor is when baby is oddly positioned against your spine during labor. It hurts like a b*tch! But it's tolerable if you have counter pressure on your sacrum. I had back labor with my stubborn posterior baby. Anterior babies seldom cause back labor.
I have recently started to take b-12 tabs and (before the attack) am feeling better. Anyone hear of this having a side effect? Also, anyone ever have a headache from ativan? almost like a mild hangover and it is only .5.
does anyone know if anyone with hepatitis b can work as central service technician in the hospital.

I tested positive for it but my ob told me not to worry an ounce. They're going to put penicillin in my iv when I go into labor to keep my daughter safe from it. I wouldn't worry too much. Worst part about it is where they swab when they test you for it lol.
I hear what you are saying.... We do have to accept the responsibilty that we were taking them or in my case even abusing them but it is frustrating as anything when the dr's act that way.... but the truth is they get scared...so they kinda freak. That doesn't make it better or ok...I would like to think a good dr would help you through the wds even if it's addiction or dependence... but you know... not many do that I know of....
