Common Questions and Answers about Temodar how supplied

temodar

Avatar f tn We know the tumor is in a slightly different area than it was originally. He is in treatment (Temodar for the second time) for the third recurrence of his tumor. We have always been told it is in an area where surgery has not been an option. The oncologist does say he believes it is a higher grade. We think he believes it is glioblastoma but he won't say that definitely without doing another biopsy.
1515784 tn?1387197290 She had a surgical resection near the end of November and is currently in her third week of Proton Therapy and chemo with Temodar. Her tumor was in the right temporal lobe and the remaining tumor they couldn't remove (about 10 percent they said) is on her right insula. Hoping to chat with other people in the same boat as her. What if any side effects did you incur on Proton therapy? Did everyone who had proton therapy to their brain have to be on a steroid? Did anyone NOT lose hair.
1524669 tn?1291423170 HI, I AM WITH OLIGODENDROGLIOMA,, NOW ON CHEMOTHERAPY-TEMODAR 350MG.
Avatar f tn A month ago my husband (41) had a tumor resection of a GBM in the left temporal/frontal lobe. He is still recovering from surgery and has begun cancer treatment (temodar& radiation) a week ago. He has a previous accident injury where he has struggled with neck pain for ten years. He has been on suboxone for probably 7 years now. He is currently taking his suboxone but is not getting any relief for his head pain.
706116 tn?1229191877 As far as the condom failures go, they have happened twice with CSW supplied condoms (I know not which brand) and once with ones I supplied, Trojan Magnums. I tend to have very vigorous intercourse with CSW's and that is what I attribute the breakage to. I am careful to never cause injury to my CSW partners, several of whom are regulars, and I never use any oil based lubricants. The only lube I use with a CSW is AstroGlide that I bring to the appointment so I know where it's been.
Avatar f tn I switched from a RE in Czech Republic who did my IVF and supplied my progesterone- vaginal suppositories, to a local OBGYN who gave me a further prescription for progesterone in the form of prometrium capsules (the little pink 100mg balls). My prescription says to be taken vaginally, but the info leaflet says to be taken orally. Can you take the same capsule either orally or vaginally as a suppository?
Avatar f tn There are a lot of factors in prognosis. How large and how invasive the tumor is, where it is located, how much they can remove with surgery, his health before the tumor, etc, etc... Radiation itself is pretty hard on the body, and can cause necrosis and inflammation. I am sure he made the decision, hopefully, after discussion with his doctors and careful consideration, decided his treatment course.
Avatar m tn The information supplied is very small. To be honest given the circumstances, I would consider a trip to the ER. They would do an ecg and also blood work and further evaluation. The bp numbers are quit high and the normal guideline is if systolic is over 180 its time for urgent er evaluation.
Avatar n tn Since the diagnosis of Glioblastoma grade 4 in August, my husband has had the tumor removed and completed the round of radiation and chemotherapy - temodar. Recently I have noticed him being very short fused and argumentative. The slightest thing sets him off as if he had been personally attack. I have also noticed depression setting in. I'm assuming this is all part of the treatment and diagnosis.
Avatar f tn They supplied formula, pacifier, diapers, blankets, wipes, everything. For me, they supplied shampoos, conditioners, soaps. I used the underwear and pads that they supplied.
Avatar f tn Yes all is supplied, but they don't supply nappies for baban
Avatar f tn I was a first time when I packed my things for the hospital and I wound up packing for things the hospital already supplied. Looking back I only needed a going home outfit, Something for the baby to wear going home and something comforable to wear while at your stay at the hospital. They supplied me with underwear which was super comfy, toiletries and towel/ wash cloth.
794236 tn?1238016706 Hi Erin, My name is John, and I've been dealing with my ependymomas for over 10 years now. I was diagnosed in 1998, and have had spinal tumors removed surgically twice. I've had radiotherapy and oral chemotherapy many times over the past 10 years, with some success. But they keep coming back for me, too. I currently have 5 in my spine (including one wrapped around the nerves in the sacrum area) plus 5 more in my brain, where the cancer spread after several years.
Avatar n tn It does sounds like you were experiencing angina, which is chest pain that occurs when the heart muscle demands more oxygen than what is being supplied. Common caused of angina are narrowed coronary arteries and hypoxia (very low blood oxygen caused by respiratory disorders and/anemia). You should talk to your doctor as you may be a good candidate for a low dose nitroglycerin patch which opens the coronary vessels to increase oxygen supply to the heart.
Avatar n tn I would say that your hearing being clogged up is due to the increased blood flow to the eardrum,as of this rapid increase blood flow, if you can imagine your eardrum throbbing because of the pulse of the blood from the heart. The continual pattern of blood being supplied causes the blocked up feeling as more blood is being supplied to the head than usual. This of which you are not used to. Have you had your blood pressure taken lately?
Avatar m tn Cynomel is like Cytomel but made in France. The french version works the best. There was a site that supplied it but it is now non operational (not sure why). I am searching for an elderly uncle. The other brands give him adverse effects that he can't tolerate. Thank you for your responses.
Avatar m tn i had sex with a girl and the condom broke and when i realize that the condom had broken i stopped, i was worried and took the girl for and HIV antibody test in the morning and her result was negative, what are my chances considering the fact that she could be in the window period, please help me
Avatar f tn The heart muscle need oxygen to function. Oxygen is supplied to the heart muscle via the coronary arteries. Because of the blockages in these arteries, your father's heart does not get enough oxygen. This causes the pain on his chest. When this situation remains too long, heart muscle cells start to die. This raises the troponin level in the blood. The supply of oxygen to his heart will be restored when the blockages are removed or when a bypass for the blood around the blockages is made.
Avatar f tn you must have a reason that you started this , if you know the reason you can work on the cure, you must have a crooked Dr thet keeps you supplied or many Dr have you thought just what this may do to your health luck jo

The hospital I delivered at supplied most of everything (maybe check your hospital to see what they have). And for my son I packed two-three onsies so he could look cute for visitors and just in case he soiled them, which he peed on two of them! Lol.
