We know the tumor is in a slightly different area than it was originally. He is in treatment (Temodar for the second time) for the third recurrence of his tumor. We have always been told it is in an area where surgery has not been an option. The oncologist does say he believes it is a higher grade. We think he believes it is glioblastoma but he won't say that definitely without doing another biopsy.

A month ago my husband (41) had a tumor resection of a GBM in the left temporal/frontal lobe. He is still recovering from surgery and has begun cancer treatment (temodar& radiation) a week ago. He has a previous accident injury where he has struggled with neck pain for ten years. He has been on suboxone for probably 7 years now. He is currently taking his suboxone but is not getting any relief for his head pain.
Does anyone know the Code to ask your Doctor to order so you may have a Blood Lab done to figure out how much Seratonin you have in you?
My nearest Doctor doesn't seem to even know there is a Lab--yet, from past experience in Supplemental Lab testing, many Supplements can be tested by a Lab if you make it as easy as possible for the Doctor to then Order using the correct Code (as we are more Motivated in our own Health than any Doctor treating many Patients).

okay I found a medical bill for my husband in the trash and it someone had scribbled out what the bill was for. (all i could read was "----- culture" So I looked up the medical code under diagnosis and it says that it is 054.1 genital herpes. Does this mean he has genital herpes or just that he was tested for it? Obvioulsy if he has it and hasnt told me I dont expect him to tell me when I confront him, but I am worries about my health!!
I assumed I was in the clear but I got the claim and the test code was 86701. Well the 5th generation test code on the labs website is 87389. They do have 2 other HIV test but there more disease progression and don’t match my claim test code. I researched the 86701 code and it’s an antibody only test and the test code isn’t listed anywhere on the labs website. Do they still have outdated tests that only doctors can test?
