Now the tumor has recurred a third time and they are trying Temodar again. What other treatment options would you consider at this point?

She had a surgical resection near the end of November and is currently in her third week of Proton Therapy and chemo with Temodar. Her tumor was in the right temporal lobe and the remaining tumor they couldn't remove (about 10 percent they said) is on her right insula. Hoping to chat with other people in the same boat as her. What if any side effects did you incur on Proton therapy? Did everyone who had proton therapy to their brain have to be on a steroid? Did anyone NOT lose hair.

Thus, sarcomas include tumors of bone, cartilage, and it would be hard to determine if it was actually an osteosarcoma or a sarcoma.

A month ago my husband (41) had a tumor resection of a GBM in the left temporal/frontal lobe. He is still recovering from surgery and has begun cancer treatment (temodar& radiation) a week ago. He has a previous accident injury where he has struggled with neck pain for ten years. He has been on suboxone for probably 7 years now. He is currently taking his suboxone but is not getting any relief for his head pain.

I came here exactly 4 years ago with classic ARS symptoms 10 days after an oral exposure with no ejaculation. I was told by teak, nursegirl etc that I had no exposure and no worry despite the fact my then girlfriend developed similar symptoms. since then I have had spells where I haven't felt well and so has she. now she tells me she hasn't felt well for a week and has little purple lesions on her chest and stomach. is this kaposis sarcoma. is it the right time frame?

My now 5yo Rotti was diagnosed with hystiocytic sarcoma in Oct 2010. He first started showing lameness in his leg in June 2010 but they thought it might have been a bone infection and treated him with antibiotics. They also discovered that he has elbow displasia in the same leg so he had a course of anti-arthritic injections.

I have a slight bulge on my right thigh only and that whole leg has been aching constantly....the knee included. I have an elevated sed rate, crp, and slightly high wbc. MRI of lumbar region shows no disc bulge or anything else...almost perfect. Any thoughts?

I have an aunt that has ewing sarcoma she is located in Mexico at this moment but she does have a permit to come to the US. She needs a complicated surgery that the doctors that are treating her for cancer have never done. yesterday i had on my both arms raised areas on skin with red colour and terrible itching. this was seen this morning on thighs, chest, and back but with lesser areas. I have been tested for hiv (elisa last month only but found the test result non reactive for the 8th time in two years after the doubtful contact. can this be karposi,s sarcoma? kindly advise.

Contracted hsv, but tested negative at 3.5 weeks for hiv. I now have cough, chest pain and a flat discolored rash on my torso that's not itchy or painful. This combination worries me. I will retest for hiv again tomorrow, 7 weeks post risk exposure. What are the chances of contracting both both hsv + hiv simultaneously in such a situation? Can karposi sarcoma show up 7 weeks after exposure to hiv? there seem to be conflicting info on the web... hope someone here can clear this up!

if yes what all??...Docs have recommended radiotherapy and chemotherapy...how helpful are these? and are there any chances of recurrence of same?? Hi about 5 years or in 5 in half years ago i made the biggest mistake of my life i got drunk at a strip club in nogales sonora mexico and had sex with the bartender for like 1 or 2 minutes and when we were done she said the condom broke and i remember she said did you come alot. Not that it matters and now im checking my body every second to see if i have Kaposi's sarcoma .

Until just now- Ive read that karposi sarcoma can present as small flat purple red lesions in the mouth. . Oh man - wtf! Just when Im feeling better. I still have a lymph node swollen behind my ear and one in my neck. Have any of you heard of oral kaposi presenting with tiny little dots that come and go?

In a routine and final follow up scan for sarcoma (removed 15 years ago from my back,) I was declared cancer free of the sarcoma, however, nodules were identified on my thyroid, and one small 6mm in my lung. I have also noticed one more lession on my breast.Could it be Karposi Sarcoma. The last time i tested for HIV was December 1 and the result was negative. I then had unprotected sex on the 22nd of January. Could i be developing the early signs of HIV? I am so scared. Could it be Karposi sarcoma?
