ACE raises blood pressure by constricting blood vessels. ACE inhibitors like enalapril prevent this effect. Enalapril has been shown to lower the death rate in systolic heart failure as does Lisinopril.
By mistake I took a single dose of 25 mg chlorpheniramine maleate and also 500 mg paracetamol along with it. I've been having a slight pain in my upper right abdomen ever since. Is this a sign of possible liver damage? Is it possible to damage liver at the above dose? Thanks in advance. I would really appreciate your input.
Thank you much for responding to my post, well I consume 120ml bottle of cough syrup in about 3 days, and yes I do want to quit both but do not see how is it possible......about any effects that I feel, i do not feel any side effects as of yet, but i know both these things are silent killers and must be doing something wrong in me somewhere...
I never use they first, always the last choice due to high incidence of side effects. One effect is a chronic cough or chronic sinus drainage that never gets well. I was on beta blockers once and had both.
I suggest strongly you get a second opinion about the recurrent errosions. Read my paper on the subject on my blog.
Try and get off beta blockers and on a safer medicine. I have no idea why you'r on ketorlac.
While sitting down I feel as if I lose my balance for a moment, I have also been having headaches a little more frequently, went to the doctors and was prescribed prochlorperazine maleate, while reading what this is used to treat I found I had hardly any of the other symptoms, no anxiety, nausea or vomiting or anything like that, also seeing the side effects i'm wondering if I should take them, i'm prone to side effects and am solely in charge of a disabled son.
I have been taking Enalapril 5mg for the last two weeks for high blood pressure, i have started getting a sensation that my heart is missing beats and get the occassional twinge of pain in the chest , i also have been getting alot of stomach pain, could this be the side effects of the Enalapril Maleate tablets?
He switched me to Brimonidine Tartrate and not only did the side effects go away but my pressures were best they have been in years 16-15 don't know why they felt so unusual but two docs and one tech double and triple checked. even had me come back in 4 weeks to do again and 15-17 . I just thought there was no way eye drops could have side effects . But the results from a switch were a pleasant surprise. Doc said sometimes drops are not effective anymore and a change works.

Long term abuse leads to serious kidney damage. Corex has a high sugar content, and may be unsuitable for acute diabetic patients.

As i had nasal allergies, which only ceterizine can stop, but it also has an added side effect of causing itch. note, i also have dermatitis. but when i take this, it takes about 1-2 weeks of taking the ceterizine to show up. i have did try to take diphenhydramine and chlorpheneramine maleate, but i became tolerant to those drugs too fast.
Treatment includes addition of more fiber in your diet,cessation of smoking and taking stress,antispasmodic medicines,antidiarrheal medicines,antidepressants and new medicines like Alosetron (Lotronex) and Tegaserod (Zelnorm).
Pls discuss this option with your gastroenterologist.

I always have bloating, cramping, spasms, discomfort in the left side that gets worse after eating or when I'm up on my feet. The problem is that it's always there. Did you have a colonic manometry? Have you tried amitiza? Have you tried tegaserod? Have you tried pyridostigmine?
How often do you have a bowel movement?
Magnesium supplements in particular will help. Use magnesium gluconate, which a very effective form, though a bit more expensive. Talk with your doctor about the short term use of prednisone. I am very against excessive use of prednisone, which has very serious side effects, however when the lungs get "twitchy" oral prednisone for several days, with a taper may the only thing to "settle them down". Ask your doctor about a few tablets for use in an emergency.
Ive been prescribed with montelukast sadium and chlorphenamine maleate when i was not yet pregnant.. now that im 5wks pregnant im not sure if i could still tkae those meds..
I will do that it seems the higher dose has created this and I'm not on anything else.
Many AD's have side effects that affect the libido, guess it applies to both sex es. As far as I know all AD's have this drastic effect . Hopefully you'll find one that's OK for you . Good luck.
Yes, I've only been on it a week and I experience the muscle aches and bilateral flank pain as well. In addition, insomnia!

FINALLY SAW FEED BACK FROM THE COMMUNITY THAT VERIFIED OTHERS FEELING SAME. ANYONE FEELING ANYTHING ELSE ODD? PLEASE POST. ALSO HAVE BLOATING, IRRITABILITY. AND CONTRARY TO WHAT DOCTORS SAY, I'M ALWAYS CONSTIPATED.
