A doctor prescribed Amoxicillin 625mg + Tamsulosin medicine for 10 days to me. I have a side effect after taking Tamsulosin (Retrograde ejaculation) or any other ejaculation problem.
Is this normal or should I stop using Tamsulosin?
Or will it (Retrograde ejaculation ) recover after stop using ten days?
Should I keep getting Tamsulosin for 10 days or stop?
Are you taking Flomax for prostate issues? Flomax works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder and prostate, which leads to improved flow of urine and fewer symptoms of BPH. I had no idea why I was feeling like I have a cold, very stuffy nose, headache, blurred vision, abdominal pain, lower back pain and lastly a bloody nose that started me looking at the side effects of this medicine... It causes all the symptoms I just listed. Why would anyone prescribe this medicine unless they are receiving payment from the drug company manufacturing it! It is unhealthy and can also create cataracts. DO NOT TAKE TAMSULOSIN FOR ANY REASON.
Are you able to check your blood pressure at home? One of the potential side effects of the med you're taking is sudden drop in blood pressure, and that correlates with the symptoms you describe.
i would like ask u it is a side effect of tamsulosin .it is tempreroy or it will b permanent, how many days i should b take this medicine.
8 mg/d of the alpha-blocker tamsulosin but good on flow. I am scared to death to be heading to a TURP for side effects but on the other side very concerned PVR is damaging my bladder due to BPH. Should an 5-alpha reductase be tried with tamsulosin prior to try the surgery? Experience please !! I keep supplementing with saw palmetto, betasitosterol, stinging nettle, pigeum, lycopene, etc ...

I had same problem, but on 1 tablet a day till I had surgery on prostate (TURP) 8 years ago with no drugs. Google new surgery on Prostate called Razum, popular in US and consultants here not pleased because it can be performed by your GP.

Uromax contains tamsulosin which has abnodmal ejaculation as its side effect. Abnormal ejaculation includes ejaculation failure, ejaculation disorder, retrograde ejaculation, and ejaculation decrease.
You can consult your doctor and talk to him regarding decreasing the dose of Uromax or change to 5-alpha reductase inhibitors like Finasetride (Proscar) which can be used for BPH.
I've been on Levaquin twice. Ugh!!! I have severe joint pain and fatigue both times. I have a really high pain tolerance and was allergic to my other options at the time, so I toughed out the 10 days both times. I don't recommend that and my doctor has promised to figure out an alternative for future infections. The first time, the serious fatigue and joint pain lasted about 3 weeks total (including the 10 days). The second time it was about 5 weeks.

Is it normal to experience dull, lingering eye pain that lasts months following an ocular migraine? Can these headaches and lingering effects also make it seems like vision from the effected eye is not quite as good as it was before? If you've heard of this happening, can you suggest a way to remedy the long-term problems?

I am using Flowmax (Tamsulosin) for about 3 months for enlarged prostate. I started noticing my Testicles hang lower now and not tight anymore since I have been using this medication.. Could this be from the use of Tamsulosin?
