Despite fairly extensive use, tadalafil has been linked to only rare reports of serum aminotransferase elevations and clinically apparent liver injury. In a single case report, tadalafil was linked to cholestatic hepatitis arising within a few days of starting the medication. Immunoallergic features and autoantibodies were not present. I am a 67 year old Type 2 diabetic. My ED started around 2 years ago since which time I have never been able to have intercourse with my wife. I raised the issue with my doctors at the outset but they didn't seem interested. Of course, in pandemic UK, you can't get near a doctor anymore.
I have now have tried all the usual tablets (Viagra, Levitra, Tadalafil although not Spedra - yet).
I wondered because they only ever had me take the antipsychotics I've taken once a day and I always heard everyone else talk about taking them twice a day. I'm only awake 12 hours or less a day and the current one I'm on has a half life of 3 days so I guess it's kind of pointless for me to take it twice a day.
t know where to post this question, someone knows if pde5 inhibitors and specifically tadalafil (cialis) are reversible enzyme inhibitors? and can you explain why from a chemical and pharmacological point of view? So, is the inhibition reversible or irreversible and why? I know it is not an easy question but I can't find on the internet this answer.
My doc prescribed me with peroxitene and tadalafil for ED and I completed the medication 5 days back. Now I need to urinate atleast 10-12 times a day even after drinking much less amount of water(only 1-1.5ltr/day). Another way it is prescribed to help is to take a lower dose (often 2.5 mg) but every day at the same time each day.Then it is in your system. Tadalafil (Cialis) has had a few side effects with long-term use, but these have not been conclusively attributed to the drug.
Headaches, indigestion, back and muscle pains, etc., have been considered the minor side effects of this drug.

(Not to mention that having sex on demand is a great big libido killer, taking all the fun away from having sex.) My doctor told me that every third day is optimal.
