Avatar f tn We are a support group for all things thyroid... Thyroid nodules rarely turn out to be a real horror story, as they are very common and usually nothing to worry about. What would you like to know and/or how best can we support you?
Avatar f tn Natural production of thyroid hormones slows down in response to thyroid medication. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for thyroid medication to built up in the blood so you can feel more hypothyroid during this time. I'm fine now and still take 50 mcg daily of Eutroxsig. I tried Armour but I was not absorbing this. I do fine on T4 only though. Here is some info from Dr Axe...

At least 10% of women have a diagnosed problem with thyroid, and many more suffer from subclinical symptoms, such as fatigue, fluid retention and weight gain. How does Withania help? I am given levothyroxin to take for 6 months, with blood work to be done every 2 months.
