Common Questions and Answers about Suboxone johnson city tn

suboxone

Avatar m tn I am a 36 yr old male, who has dealt with being prescribed pain medication all my life for my health reasons. I had a doctor in Johnson City TN. He has closed his practice and has moved to California. I made the switch to a doctor who is brand new in prescribing suboxone. I feel the therapist does not understand or can relate to what it has been like to be an addict. When I found Suboxone it was a miracle.

1530342 tn?1405016490 But that deal fell apart after Johnson and prosecutors disagreed over the terms. Johnson instead decided to maintain his not guilty plea and the case is set to go to trial. On Saturday, the Tribune reported that Johnson provided the newspaper with emails, financial statements, photos and a transcript of a recorded meeting with John Swallow, then the state's chief deputy attorney general. Only one email from Johnson was available on the newspaper's website.
Avatar m tn Thank you for the help. I just came from a follow-up. The range from the lab is .450 to 4.50. After being on 25 mcg synthroid for 6 weeks my TSH was at 3.6. When I asked her if I should see an endocrinologist she said I didn't need to, the TSH was coming down and was within the normal range. Not as low as she would like but within the range. From everything I have read here this is not the way to treat this. I live in rural SW Virginia.
Avatar n tn I don't live in TN, but most states have some public assistance that could help. How long has your fiance been on suboxone and what is her dose? Would this be an opportunity to taper off the suboxone? There are a lot of members here, so I hope that someone who lives closer to you can help.

Avatar f tn Gamma Knife is not new to TN. I had 2 rounds of Gamma Knife and 2 rounds of MVD. I still have TN and now I have Phantom pain from all of the treatments. The docs are going to try to restore the nerve and start all over again. Gamma knife runs about 150K per round. Insurance companies are hesitate to approve its use for TN now, since it only helps one-half of the TN patients. It is the least invasive of all treatments, the best of all worlds, ONLY if it works.
Avatar m tn My doctor did all kinds of blood tests to rule out any other disease. TN is diagnosed from how the patient describes the symptoms and by the process of elimination. There is no "test" that confirms TN as far as I know. My advice would be that you find a "facial pain specialist" or a doctor that deals with "orofacial pain" if there is one practicing near you.
Avatar f tn Like you, I had a CT scan thinking it was my sinuses. I went through ENT, dentist, orthodontist, before my internist diagnosed me with TN. Keep a pain journal. How it feels, how long it lasts, what triggers it, etc. diagnosis is usually from patient description. Of course it could be something else entirely. Be aware that TN is considered rare and many doctors are unfamiliar. My internist diagnosed it but didn't know enough to increase the drugs enough to stop the pain.
Avatar m tn I live in Tn and am prescribed three 8 milligram strips of Suboxone a day. I have zero insurance and just can't afford them. I'm going broke quick. Is there any programs in my state that will help me pay for my prescription?
Avatar n tn I've have had TN since Dec 17th. My internist put me on gabapentin which did not help the pain. My neurologist put me on Tegretol, which did not help the pain. My pain specialist put me on Trileptol, which after slowly increasing the dosage finally controlled the pain. April 22nd I had gamma knife surgery. The pain specialist said it'll be 3 months before we know if it worked. There are five surgery options.
Avatar f tn A study was just done stating the Johnson & Johnson products contains formaldihide and many cancer causing agents!! Johnson & Johnson actually admitted that their products had cancer causing agents in them... I exchanged all the shampoo and body wash and lotion and diaper rash cream for something else organic..
