Try listening to relaxation or meditation music on Pandora with some headphones if you have quiet time just lay there and relax think and about the baby.it helps me. Also I had very rough last two months in terms of mental stress and additional alcohol. Would that have been a reason for the spike. I have now quit both smoking and drinking and hitting the gym along with diet control program. Lifestyle modifications also needed ( some of which you have already done)- Lifestyle modifications - 1. Head elevation while sleeping 2. Small frequent meals 3. Going to bed 2- 3 hours after food 4. Avatar m tn Jeg er blant annet sertifisert kursholder i Bekymringsmestring samt mindfulness instruktør i Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction og har solide verktøy som skal til for å kunne holde meg avspent og ha god kontroll på stress. Etter fullført CBT-I test gjennom Helse i Arbeid ble det konkludert at de ikke kunne hjelpe alle, og jeg var en av dem. Slik avsluttet de "behandlingen" med beskjed om å kontakte min fastlege. Det forelå ingen forslag til videre behandling eller undersøkelse.
Avatar f tn Can migraines go away if they are only caused by severe stress.... basically i have been depressed for a long time and mainly because i cant get rid of the migraines... im pretty sure they came at the same time.. so is it possible that if i take beta blockers for a while and release the stress of being depressed because of the migraines.. that they might just go away without the beta blocker and the depression meds... for my sake i hope so...

Avatar m tn While some doctors give an extra as needed small dose of Xanax for these situations, it could make you a little drowsy (depends on the person) so you might wanna try some relaxation breathing and visual relaxation before hand or get some other anxiety reduction techniques from your doctor/therapist/self help books.
