It could still be a stomach virus, however, it could be a bacteria or even parasite. I recenlty had a stomach virus that lasted about 7-8 days.

Your headaches could very well be a sign of dehydration - with all the diarrhea, you can get dehydrated pretty quickly. Be sure and stay well hydrated - water, ginger ale, sports type drinks are all good.
I agree about checking for carbon monoxide - carbon monoxide poisoning can mimic a flu or virus, causing headaches and nausea/vomiting.
If you're not having trouble with carbon monoxide, it's possible you've either both picked up a stomach virus or perhaps even food poisoning. The only thing a little "different" about it is that you feel worse if you don't eat - that usually is more typical of something like an ulcer than a virus.
I've been having stomach ache pains for about 6 days or so now, accompanied with diahrrea (yay!!) But I haven't had nausea, vomiting, or fever. So I'm not sure if it's a virus or potentially preterm labor - don't even know if that's even a sign of labor. I'm 29 weeks pregnant with my first baby, so i really have no clue what to expect or make of this. Im sure new moms can relate ;) Has anyone had anything similar to this? Thanks!!!
( Woke up with a sick little one today and then after lunch started getting any upset stomach headache back ache and having to have frequent regular bowel movements. I hate stomach viruses:( On top of that got the flu shot yesterday so I am achy from that too and I haven't ate but once today bc food sounds horrid. Anyone else going through this while pregnant?
I got enlarged lymph nodes and the sore throat which I was originally diagnosed with strep throat. Then I started to get severe stomach pains which landed me in the hospital. Over the month I had an ultrasound done and it showed that I had an enlarged spleen. So now I am going back for additional blood tests as the doctor is pretty sure I have Mono.
While my stomach pains have improved I have had a new development emerge. Last week I started twitching all over.
Hey ladies I'm 27 weeks and I have been sick for 4 days stomach pains, body chills, breaking out in sweat at night, vomiting and then non stop diarrhea today...ugh. Everytime I get out the bed I have to run to the bathroom. My kids have experienced similar symptoms so that makes me think it may be a virus. My Dr says if it continues to come in on Monday but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced something similar. If so what worked for you????
I have recently started taking Lantus at night and Humalog before meals. After about a month my stomach pain was unbearable. It began with chills at night, severe dry heaves, (unable to throw up due to reflux surgery) and diahhrea. My doctor said he thought I had a virus. I could not figure out what was going on. I usually gave myself shots in the upper stomach area, so I moved the shots to my legs with no improvement. I even tried Levemir, but after two days the pains came back.
I am 20 wks n 2 days and I have a stomach virus. I can't keep anything down. I am constantly vomiting. Will this affect the baby?

Hi all, me and my girlfriend had sex many times during our holidays together, between 25th June and 5th July. Most of the times, i went inside her without protection and after sometime put condom and continued until I came. Once or twice I could have had unprotected sex and pulled out well in time before I came.
On 5th morning she complained of stomach ache and by 5th afternoon her period had started.
ive been having sharp knife like pains in my stomach. for the past two days they would come on and off. but it hurts really bad. if i lay down for a minute or so, i would first feel burning in my stomach then cramps arise from the my sides towards my abdomen and back pains aswell. later i rush to the restroom and i produce little or no stool. BUT the pain increases and i am in pains for 5-10 mins straight..what do i have?

I'm 16 years old... I have not been diagnosed with depression nor have I been diagnosed with anxiety...
I have had anxiety attacks/panic attacks. When I get nervous/scared/stressed about something I get this horrible pain in my stomach... I feel like puking, my body trembles, and I eventually start crying if I don't calm down within a certain amount of time...
It could be that she contracted a virus or stomach bug when her resistance was down due to the miscarriage. But she should have a scan (an ultrasound) to see if any tissue remains in the uterus. And a blood test to see if her hCG levels are down to 0, and maybe also a blood test to see if her white-blood count is up. Time to go see her regular doctor at the very least, or the emergency room.
