s quite common to have stomach upset/pain with antibiotics, especially when you are taking more than one. Another culprit for your stomach issues could be the codeine - it also can be quite difficult on teh tummy.
I know you don't want to go into the hospital for IV antibiotics, but it may be necessary to beat the infection.
I went to the doctor and was told that it was a staph infection.I was given antibiotics and told to keep area clean.They did clear up entirely after about a week.I had them for two weeks previously before I had gone to doctor.I now have boils popping up again,but around my bellybutton area.What could be causing these?I also had a case of the shingles in this same area when I was eleven years old(many years ago).
Pain in stomach, pelvic area, burning in vagina, different discharge colour, smelly urine, bowl problems (sometimes constipated). The worst thing is that all these symptoms are much worse a few hours after sexual contact in particular if I have an orgasm. Now I avoid all sexual contact and this is problematic for my relationship.
My periods seem to be regular most of the time but very painful.

I was reading back to the heartburn/stomach pain @ menstrual time. I am 39 and a personal trainer. I eat clean and work out 5-6 days a week. I have no children. I woke up one morning and looked 4 months pregnant with severe pain (this was 3 months ago). I have been through many test including an endoscopy to take bioposies of my stomach. Everything normal; aside from a rather smaller fibroid which "wouldn't be causing this pain". I have eliminated gluten, dairy, false sugars etc..
radiating to your lower back can definitely result from a urinary tract infection to which you recieved antibiotics. Assuming you took your whole round of antibiotics you still have pain / abdominal bloating warrants futher work up!!Your Dr should repeat the urine culture just to make sure you don't have any more bacteria that may have ascended upward to one of your kidneys. If that is a clear than your Dr should have a cat scan and or an MRI done of your abdomen and pelvis.
It is usually found due to persistent diarreah after antibiotics or hospitilization but it CAN show up as nausea, stomach pain and vomiting. I know because I got it and only had the stomach problems so no one looked for it, I got sicker and sicker until I was almost dead, I went to every specialist under the sun and because they thought I may have leukemia (I was that sick) I went to an oncologist who was the one who found it.

I started to get severe stomach and chest pain, along with diarrhea. It had to be caused by the antibiotic because nothing else was different about me or the medication I'm presently taking.

Yesterday had an ex-ray that showed abnomormal amount of trapped air in stomach. Symptoms are exteneded stomach from under breast throughout stomach. All labs and ultra sound of organs are normal. What is causing this and how can I treat it and prevent it.
For the last six months I have been having this burning, crampy pain in my stomach. It makes me feel like I want to vomit and belch. But mostly, it is a real bad burning pain.
This all started after I was exposed to my mother in law who has H.Pylori. Then, I started having a couple of drinks two nights a week ( either a couple of beers or a couple of Strawberry daiquiris). My stomach has always been very weak and bothersome to me anyhow.
Well, if the antibiotics didn't or aren't working . . . chances are you really have a virus and not something antibiotics work on. People often do have a hard time telling them apart. I doubt you have a resistant strain of bacteria that three or two antibiotics wouldn't touch. So, give it some time to see if the virus finally goes. OR, you could have a virus, then got bronchitis, then got another virus, etc. I swear this happened to me when my kids were in the elementary years.
s my medical history...about three weeks ago I woke up with stomach pain. The pain was sharp and lasted for all day. by time I made it to the doctors that day the pain subsided. I also went to the doc for a lump on my inner left buttock. The doc prescribed my antibiotics and ranitidine. I took the antibiotics and the lump/bump went away, but I never took the ranitidine. About one week ago, I drank some beer and as I drank the beer my stomach started hurting, but I kept drinking (a lot).
I'm here again after treating UTI infection cipro.500mg antibiotics 7 days after stop taking antibiotics a week ago, I went to my GP today he think I still have infection he gave me cipro 500mg antibiotics for 14 days I have back pain only left side & in my lower abdominal when I press it goes to my stomach I feel blocked,bloated,why is like this? Its already 5 weeks why so much pain ?
About 6 months ago I started having the most severe stomach pain along with burning. I went to the doctor and I had H. Pylori. I was treated with the usual antibiotics and acid reducer. The symptoms subsided some but I noticed that I was not able to eat certain foods. Then I was scheduled for a hysterectomy about 2 months later everything went fine until a few days later I began to have severe stomach pain along with the worst diarreah ever. I went to the doctor and I now had C. Diff.
