m now 32 weeks pregnant and the past couple of nights have woken up with a stitch-like pain right across my stomach and also a shooting pain in my left side (around where my ovary is) it isn't persistent but today feels rather tender. When this pain woke me up it wasn't severely painful but was still rather sore and enough to have me slightly worried. It's like a shooting pain that happened right across my bump. Anybody else had similar experiences?
My wife aged seventy, has had a persistent nausea problem since about February 2008. She wakes up in the morning and feels fine...until she starts to move around. The nausea stays with her until she has some food and liquid in her stomach. Many times, it subsides, but comes back when she moves around again. All her tests EGD, Cat Scan, MRI, etc turn out normal. Hida Scan showed her gall bladder to be very small and only 10% operative, so she had it removed about two months ago.
I'm having rashes on my face and feeling a moderate abdominal pain. I've always been hypersensitive since childhood. I've been diagnosed as having GERD. I've applied lemnis cream on my face and drank anti histamines already but it seems that it has not been subsiding. The rashes are persistent for 4 days now and the abdominal pain has been persistent for 2 days.
is Nizonide o safe for kids aged 8 and 13? My kids were complaining of bad stomach pain (younger one aged 8 was also having frequent potty - not very frequent) but also stomach cramps. And both have mild flu like symptoms
They were prescribed Nizonide O and Rablet by physician? Is it safe? My elder one (aged 3+) is still not okay and is having too much pain in throat too now and running nose.
Unfortunately, he continues to have reflux, stomach pain, throat pain and a persistent low grade fever. He is now also complaining of chest pain, is lethargic, and occasionally his legs hurt. He has lost about nine pounds in the past three months.

Im only 20 weeks along, and having sharp pain in my lower right side of my stomach, & it gets worse when i lay down. Since yesterday the pain started in the a.m. & was on &off all day long, then started again when i was laying down and didnt go away till like 6am & started again late this morning. Pain wakes me up out of sleep only slept for abt 4 hrs anyone know what can be causing this pain?
I've had persistent abdominal pain since Mid July. It started quite suddenly with an event/attack severe enough to cause me to end up on the floor, I may have passed out I don't know. I just remember my husband finding me on the floor curled up in the fetal position, and having super severe abdominal pain. The pain passed after 20 mins or so, felt like forever, and I thought all was good, but I was wrong.
d have good days and then all of a sudden, pain at 1 am, usually right in the middle of my stomach between navel and breastbone, sometimes a pain towards the left rib, and almost always a dull or burning pain on my right ribs. I also will feel a sense of fullness or pressure on the right side after eating. I started seeing a naturopath and was prescribed a wide variety of supplements and tinctures but continue to have these attacks.
Whenever this happens I feel whole body inflamed - like fingers feels but thick, ring feels tight and increase in lower back pain, shoulder pain and upper back pain. I feel like the whole spine is inflamed.
Lately since last 3 months I have been experiencing pain (when pressed) in front of body As well specially in abdomen area, around belly button , bottom of rib and around both nipples and chest to shoulder.
s the regurgitation, constant that I have sometimes it feels like I am swallowing knives! Then the pain in my back between my shoulder blades only everyonce in a while!! I just want to be able to eat again. I am going to go to a holistic doctor this week! Iam scared what if it is something else but I know the egd, bloodtests,and biopsies all show nothing! What you are suffering from could be post cholescystectomy syndrome. In this, there’s persistent pain and associated nausea/vomiting. This occurs primarily due to either the adhesions which are formed in the area of the surgery or due to the dysfunction of the sphincter of oddi. Since the reservoir of the bile i.e. gall bladder has been surgically removed, it results in a continuous flow of the bile into the intestine resulting in gastritis & esophagitis.
Within the week he was back on an antibiotic and this week he still has a fever, achy bones, lethargic, stomach pain, swollen glands, and white spots in his throat. The chest x-ray and mono came back negative. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why he keeps getting so sick. We get rid of his toothbrush and his hygiene is not an issue. As of today he will have been on 10 days antibiotic (with only 6 days off previously) and now has been prescribed for another 10 days.
I have a persistent diarrhea, lower abdomenal pain for some weeks now. I had a sigmoidoscopy and CT abdomen test which prove negative, but the diarrhea is still persistent, what else can cause this? I have a history of one colon cancer in the family.
In addition, I started to develop stomach symptoms such as burning in the stomach, cramping, diarrhea, and pain in the side of the abdomen as well as in the kidney area. After trying out a round of antibiotics, the pain was still there which caused my doctor to prescribe me with two new antibiotics (Ciproflaxcin and Flagyl) which helped to ease the stomach and chest pain for about 10 days.
First is to test for diabetes. Hyperthyroidism is another cause. In kids with persistent cough and sweating or other upper respiratory infections coming on and off, a heart condition cannot be ruled out.
I suggest you take a second opinion. Preferably consult a cardiologist and an endocrine specialist.

Be persistent in your goal of properly tirating your new, effective dose. Keep a pain diary, and stay in close touch with your doctor's office. Ask to come in that day if necessary.
Feeling additional pain can only make your chronic pain condition worse. Stay on top of this.

About six months ago, my boyfriend complained of severe back pain. In a few days, his back pain traveled into the lower left abdominal area and it has persisted to this day. He has seen a gastro doctor and gone through a colonoscopy, blood tests, capsule endoscopy, stool sample and the only positive test result he got was cdifficile. He went on metronidazol. The pain diminished only a little. He had a few stool samples after that but they all came up negative.
