Pls get an ultrasound abdomen and CT abdomen along with blood counts done to find out the cause of pain as treatment depends on the same.I feel that a gastroenterologist’s consultation will be the best.

Its a really weird kind of uncomfortable twisting pain in the left lower abdomen, and recently the pain radiates to my lower back, a very mild pain.It gets bettter only when i stretch out and lie on my stomach.
I donot have any other symptoms, but when i eat heavy food i have this awful burning feeling when i burp?!? Have gone to the docter and he gave me muscle relaxants that dint help much. Am really worried. plz let me know wat to do.
I have searched in different websites. One reason can be contraction of uterus and the other can be ulcer in duodenum. You can search Dyspareunia in wikipedia org. This may give you some insight in your problem. or you may consult gynecologist or gastroenteritis.Sorry I could not help you much. You can also find out whether you get pain if you do it on empty stomach.If you get pain after doing it on empty stomach, you can rule out stomach problem and concentrate on gynecological problem.
you dont say where the pain is located in the upper abdomen is it on the irght as Gall Bladder Attack is very painful and is located on the right under the rib cage and radiates up to the shoulder and even into the Back. There seems to have been a lot recantly I have noticed I had this about 3 weeks ago it was severe but now is almost gone, I have wondered if there was a virus out there .See a Doc if it continues, or try not eatinf Fatty food go to Low Fat, as eating seems to trigger the pain.
Without history it is impossible to say. One common cause of pain in the lower abdomen would be constipation. When you say "lower stomach," the stomach is actually a particular organ.
Are you having any other symptoms? Is the pain relieved with lying down? Have you tried a gas reliever like Gas-Ex or Phazyme (simethicone)? Have you had normal bowel movements? Is there blood in your stool? Is it an odd color? Do you have diarrhea? Are you vomiting?
Today I’ve been experiencing a stabbing-like pain, only occasionally and usually instant, in my upper left abdomen about an inch or so down from my rib cage. This pain seems like it goes straight through me or around my side sometimes and too my back when it happens. I’ve felt somewhat of a dull ache in this spot for a while but just today, it’s started turning into stabbing like sensations. Any idea what this could be?
I have the same - for the last couple of weeks plus some perhaps related slight pain in the same left area of the lower abdomen. I'm 40 year old female.
For the past few months I have woken up to a dull pain in the center of my upper abdomen which would subside after about ten minutes of me getting out of bed for the past couple of weeks the pain is there almost continuous my upper abdomen is swollen my stomach makes loud rumbling noises that goes up in to the left side of my chest area I get sharp pain between my shoulder blades and under my right shoulder blade I also have rib pain directly under both breasts which is a sharp pain when touched
It is mostly localized in my lower right abdomen, but as the pain gets worse it spreads throughout the lower abdomen and to my lower right back. The pain ranges from a tearing feeling to a stabbing sensation. The pain is so severe that I can not move. I also feel very nauseated and throw up throughout the whole ordeal. Along with the nausea I experience vertigo and am very weak. This episodes generally have a sudden onset, last about two hours and then they gradually stop.
My sister is pregnant of 10 months ,she has a problem of urinal infection,she got pain in stomach and vaginal during the delivery of urinal.she has a stomach pain at the starting time of her pregnancy.Her doctor give her clacix 200, Profassi 1000,LFT suspension() to maintain the pregnancy and Lipigest 300 to kept in vaginal.Is it ok for her.she has low BP and feel very weak.
I have constant pain in my left side and in my bladder. The distension itself makes me more uncomfortable. They did lots of tests at the hospital, I was there for 4 days. But as far as I know they only tested me for hep c because my liver enzymes were outta whack. I did google the ascites and that sounds like what it may be. I will have to call the clinic that I go to and see what they think. Thank flguy!!!
I am a relatively healthy 22 year old female (despite hypothyroidism and celiac disase). Over the past few month I have been waking up during the night and having pain in my mid to upper abdomen whenever I take a deep breath in (occasionally it hits my lower abdomen as well). I have also noticed incerased frequency of urination during the night hours only. After emptying my bladder and getting back into bed the pain seems to subside.
