I would not take lamisil ever again. It is notoriously hard on your liver. Sporanox is really bad for the liver also.

My son has a problem with recurrent ringworm. Now it seems that his ringworm happens about the same time I have a yeast infection. Are they related?

Try applying an OTC anti-fungal ointment on the boils (clotrimazole `% twice daily or terbinafine once daily). If it's ringworm, you will see marked improvement after 1-2 days. When i put Lotrimin on it, it stops growing and does eventually dry up but even though i used it for a while even after the ringworm cleared, i found another ringworm 5 months later (today). I'm really frustrated. My sister told me to use Triamcinolone acetonide for this new ringworm and the ointment is anti bacterial and not anti fungal. ok so i have started gettin spots that look like ringworm it started on my elbow it was a patch that looked like ringworm but it took a while to go away even tho i was using the cream but now like weeks later im gettin little ringworm spots all over i have one on my cheek one above the eye 1 on each forearm one on my thigh and a few on my back they look just like ringworm to me they are small area's not noticeable much the ones on my body arms are red the ones on my face are just skin color

Ringworm won't look like a pimple- so I don't think the pimple is really associated, it's like just a pimple that will heal up. If you haven't seen it clear up with the creams your doctor gave you, I'd recommend heading back to your doctor to have a second look- I'd lean more towards it's likely eczema if the cream you were given didn't clear it up.

It is very evident you have been symptom surfing. There are many causes of ringworm, least of all, a compromised Immune System from HIV. There is Nothing HIV specific about Ringworm. Do you spend a lot of time at your sisters home? I wouldn't think it's ringworm if they are pimple like bumps- ringworm is more like patches and blisters. I'd recommend getting a doctor to take a quick look to see what is causing the rash.
