I chose gift cards- Ours was hosted by a couple, so a spa gift certificate for the gal and a bike shop one for the boy. They were so stoked!

I got two gift cards, one for amazon, and one that is just like a credit card. Both my dad and his girlfriend as well as my mom told me I need to get something for myself, because since my daughter was born I haven't gotten anything for myself. She will be 4 on the first of February and I am due with my son on the ninth. I have no idea what to get for myself. I keep looking at things for my kids and my SO. Any ideas?

My hubby noticed that being pregnant is tough lol.....sooo he gave me a spa gift certificate and finally gave a credit card with my name on it (he usually doesn't trust me with credit cards lol) to go shopping and no limit!! Yeeay I love my babes he is a great man and I'm glad he's gonna be the father of my child.

Gift card for his favorite coffee place with a bag of their coffee. Google play or iTunes gift cards. GameStop GC if he's a gamer. you could do like a couples massage/spa day.

Gift card to Motherhood Maternity or another place that sells maternity clothes is also a good choice.

I got coupons, cream, a bottle, and $165 in gift cards! The gift cards were for udder covers, seven slings, carseat canopy, and nursing pillows. I tried one of the cards today and it worked. So if you are fortunate enough to live near a Motherhood Maternity store or outlet store or know someone who does you should give it a shot and sign up. I got my bag from the outlet store so idk if the regular store has them but it can't hurt to try.

I am trying to figure out cheap gift ideas for my kids teachers. They always like to give something but this year money is tight. I was thinking of crafting them a gift but not sure what....here is where I need help. Anyone have any ideas of what the kids can make or I can buy for the teachers?

People BYOB It was anounced that for everyone who brought diapers and or gift cards for diapers, their name would be entered into a draw for the door prize! Everyone loved the idea! Everyone brought diapers and GC's lol We even had raffle tickets for little prize's. The money being raised will go towards the 3D/4D Ultrasound! We made quite a bit! Everyone had a blast. Lots of food and great times! This is my third girl but my first shower ever!

I have not had a baby shower yet, but some friends and family are getting us little gifts. Should I write thankyou notes for every gift??

Maybe jewelery, bath and body works gift sets, if they like going to the movies, do like a $40 gift card,a cecertificate to get their nails done, a wine tasting adventure if they like wine, chocolate or what's cool are those food clubs. Like if you subscribe with a company for a year, they send that person different flavors of that product each month. I know they do that with popcorn and beer!

I agree with gift cards! They have gift cards for gas too which is always useful.

But in all reality I wish I could just ask for gift cards or cash so I can buy stuff on my own. Shopping for baby makes me happier than anything right now so it would be nice to be able to do a lot of it at once with my baby daddy and my son. Having other people buy me gifts just isn't as fun even if it is really appreciated. Has anyone here ever just asked for giftcards/cash?

I am getting a good use out of the babies r us cards that I got. You could also get the gift cards for Sears, Wal-Mart or Target. I always give out gift cards b/c this way there are no doubles of stuff. I hope this helps you decide. Take care and good luck.

With Xmas coming beware of any purchases at any of these stores especially gift cards, you may lose all your money, like a lot did with the SAAN store gift cards etc. FYI. before you do any holiday shopping, or get stuck with any unused or not honorable gift cards, take a look at the list below. Keep these stores in mind, you wouldn't want to purchase a gift card for someone that won't be able to use it!! Pass it on.

Has anyone did a registry at baby r us? And did they give u anything cards for the invites n any gifts from them for doing a registry.
