it appears 10 to 12 times a day and stays for more than a hour. i am taking sotret tablets for my acne(pimples) treatment, can it be due to this medicine? i mean that my body temperature changes, sometimes it shows 96 and after 2 hours it shows 97.5. it happens more when i sleep and less when i go outside home. this all are my symptoms. what could it be? i want to ask the following questions?
( is there any good skin product that really does work at getting rid of acne, dark spots, bit still make your skin smooth?? Btw I have sensitive skin && some acne products make my skin dry :( please help?
I get it on my chest, back and face I have went to a derm since I was 18 but it never seemed to really help and I felt like since my acne was mild they never really cared. When I get acne it lasts for multiple weeks or months which is why its so agonizing especially cause afterwards I am left with post acne marks that can last up to a year. It has totally messed up my self confidence and has made me totally insecure.

I have had continuing problems with acne and cysts on my buttocks area for approximately 15 years. Any acne medication takes time to act and it is important to stick to particular regime for significant improvement. You should wash your face with a nonirritating, pH-balanced cleanser to decrease inflammation. Avoid scrubbing the face. Do not pop or pick at pimples. A correct nutritional balance and skin care will be helpful. Drink plenty of water every day. Take 7-8 hours of sleep daily. Have a balanced diet rich in vitamin A, zinc and rich in multivitamins.
I was on Doxy 100mg for about a month for antimalarial reasons, saw a slight improvement in my skin, and was then prescribed Doxy 50mg for acne indefinitely. I’ve been on this for about 3 weeks.
I have definitely noticed fewer pimples, but I still have the odd one here and there. I’ve also been using 10% Benzoyl Peroxide gel which I think has worked wonders.
I would like to go off Doxy 50mg to see if it is the Doxy or the Benzoyl which has helped my skin.
Now I have persistant and large acne on my cheeks and jawline, including cystic acne. The acne is ever present and not just once a month. My current dermo (not the one who proscribed Accutane) tells me that it's hormonal (I believe this) and that I will just have to deal with it for the rest of my life (I don't want to accept this). She does Cortosone injections on occasion for the cysts because I cannot, for the life of me, leave my face alone.
I recently read about a genetic test called AcneDX that tests whether or not oral antibiotics will be an effective acne treatment. My teenaged daughter has moderate acne and tetracycline has been suggested. I'm concerned about giving her a medication that may have side effects and produce an antibiotic resistance later in her life, and it may not even work to clear her acne up. The test sounds like a great way to find out prior to treatment if the antibiotics will help.

Tea tree Oil is the best natural treatment for acne most times but must be used consistantly for a period of 2 weeks to see any results.
Hormonal changes, stress etc can cause the acne but it should start to clear with Tea Tree Oil Facewash or from a health food store.
Aloe Vera (cut from the plant) is also great for acne.
I swear by Aloe Vera (fresh from the plant) for all skin treatments including sunburn, stings etc.
Its eczema or acne jus inform your dr and I'm sure you will get some cream for it. My daughter had eczema.

I've had the same clutter of acne on my check for about 2 years now. It looks like acne but I've taken everything you can think of, doxycycline, accuzone and now I've started facials but it still doesn't go away. There are days where it is less appearant but has never gone away in this 2 year period. My dermatologist thinks it's acne but my Estetitian thinks it might be dermatitis(which I've had in my arms when I was little).

Hi, I can't go to the student health center until tomorrow and I need some urgent advice. I've had this acne type infection on my chin for a year. I've been to the campus dermatologist once and the nurse twice and have been taking doxy antibiotics and using different topical antibiotic creams but last night an entire huge growth came out and I'm really freaked out about what to do.
Hi!I have suffered from acne for 10 years until i took accutane that cleared my acne(now 21 years old)...Over these years my acne got worse and now i m left with small scars like holes ang huge pores on cheeks,nose and forehead that make me look older.Some of my pores are scared and the overall texture of my skin is bad.Is there any effective treatment and which type of laser would be the best and less risky for my skin condition?

I've been using a moisturiser that contains less than 3% salicylic acid for acne. Would this affect fertility?
The reason I am asking is because DH and I are TTC and we haven't had any luck in the past 3 cycles. We got pregnant immediately (seriously, within a week I knew I was pregnant) with our first child. I never used the moisturiser before because I didn't have acne but my last pregnancy really messed up my skin BIG TIME.
