This is an excellent question. Vitamins and isotretinoin can be tricky. B12 in general can actually be traced to acne flare ups. Isotretinoin can decrease B12 levels. Low B12 can be problematic. But generally is isn't recommended (B12) to be taken with Isotretinoin very often. I am glad you are followed by a doctor, is he the one who prescribed the isotretinioin? And why are you having the B12 added? I would talk to them about it as well as ask your usual pharmacist.
from September to now I had a violent outburst of acne (cystic nodule) and so my dermatologist prescribed to me Roaccutane (isotretinoin) 30 mg everyday .

from a few years ago I'm noticing that my hair are becoming thinner . My dermatologist says that is normal but the difference between from a few years ago and now it's substancial !!! .

Has anyone taking isotretinoin?.i know there is a risk ov depression,I'm on my 6th day today ov taking them and don't feel too great.i feel quite low but really agitated,can't switch off and can't keep still.do u think its because ov these meds or just a coincidence?

It is believed that isotretinoin works primarily by reducing the secretion of oils from the glands, however some studies suggest that it affects other acne-related factors as well. Isotretinoin has been shown to be very effective in treating severe acne and can either improve or clear well over 80% of patients.
m using isotretinoin. Then i got some ulcers on my lips and my doctor said its because of the isotretinoin. Then he prescribed minoz 50. I can't bear this acne anymore...

He said it was probably just caused by the combination of having severe acne and sinus infection. He scheduled a blood test for me that he said tested for CBC (Complete Blood Count), Liver function and Kidney function because he wanted me to go on acne medication that required these tests (Isotretinoin). He also gave me some antibiotics to clear up sinus.
Does anyone know about the scarring after-effects of accutane? I've read several reports of scarring left after it's use. I'm sure that scars are to be expected, as with any open wound, but I don't know if these reports are by anyone with abnormalities with healing/scarring. Here is the situation...
I have mild, maybe slightly moderate acne. I get keloids on other parts of my body, but thankfully not my face. I still get abnormal facial scarring though.
Hi i hope i spelt it right lol well anyway i have sebacciouse hyperplasia on my genitals as far as i know its a condition that blocks my oild glands and causes them to swell up *kinds of like acne* i have been given cream which does not work and my dr does not seem to help much.

ve been on Isotretinoin for a month and I stopped it because of extreme constipation (sorry for the details) and alarmingly rapid weight gain. I'm a 20 year old male college student btw!

5 weeks pregnant and I have been taking the isotretinoin drug for my acne. Abortion is higly recommended since isotretinoin can cause severe defects on the baby. Wondering if taking abortion pills is safe and effective. Please help.

Oratane capsules contain a medication known as isotretinoin. Isotretinoin is often a cure for acne. You can take oratane after 3 weeks after miscarriage but Oratane causes birth defects and must absolutely not be used by pregnant women or by women who intend to become pregnant. Hence the time you are taking oratane , you should not fall pregnant.
However one morning about 3 years ago I woke up and my entire face was beat red and the acne severe, It literally happened over night. I have used everyface wash imaginable from over the counter to infomercials and proactiv. I have been to 3 doctors and no one can tell me what it wrong with my face. I have had to help aside from a witch doctor trying to tell me I had a hex put on me but even her remedy didn't help (im desperate).
I just left my dermatologists office for skin and hair related issues and she told me that I am menopausal. She says she believes that my skin and hair problems may be due to menopause. Are these symptoms seen in menopause?
I have very sticky skin. It started about eight months ago with just my hands and feet being sticky after washing, but has grown progressively worse. It has spread over my entire body and I am now sticky all of the time. My hands and feet are by far the worst.
