736475 tn?1281259327 maybe you had a favorite in the 60's, 70's & 80's or if you are younger more recent decades. might be fun, i'm new at this. beatles, cream, and dire straits.
Avatar f tn I think my baby likes music. Today is the second day I play Mozart lullabies, spanish childrens songs and simple lullabies on top of my tummy.
Avatar f tn There is NO way I can narrow this down to one choice!!! LOL I have a very wide range of music that I love listening to-from heavy rock like Panterra, disco-Blondie, and classical Mozart. I'm not a huge fan of country music-I will admit to liking a few songs, like Carrie Underwood's-Before He Cheats (title????).
Avatar f tn I'm in the same boat but I'm supposedly "talented" when it comes to music. I feel frustrated though as I have trouble conveying emotions in my speech so I'm kind of screwed when it comes to singing which I feel is severely limiting.
Avatar n tn Hi so I heard playing music for the baby In the womb is good for your baby. What kind of music should I play?
10973934 tn?1414701423 What kind of music is good for baby's to listen to while they are in your belly?

640838 tn?1377454398 I make music. Send me a message if you hear music in your head- I might be able to make something out of it and possibly offer pay if I get it to the right artists/show. Maybe this will help to "release" it and turn it into smoe beautiful.
Avatar f tn Language is developed through interacting with your baby constantly. Music is a great thing for anyone. I think it helps to learn rythym as this is also a big part of language. Kids exposed to multiple languages can speak multiple languages. Can't hurt to listen to music but I think its just part of the story.
Avatar f tn Do it pre pregnancy and post! We put the music on at night to drown out sound but he knows th e music.
7552244 tn?1393364737 Yes my daughter actually has a favorite song. I think bc the voice sounds so much like daddys, but she rolls and lays right under the taps at my phones speaker laying on my belly.
Avatar f tn I'm sorry for posting so much, there's just so many questions and doctors don't have ALL the answers. I like asking you ladies out there about your input and advice for these types of things. So, I'm a college student and my life is basically revolved around researching studies and articles online and I have heard and read that classical music helps the developing baby's brain. What are your thoughts about this? Have any other mom's done this and noticed anything?
Avatar f tn Seuss books, and some music (Mozart, some Piano music, and a few select songs from my favorite artists talking about love. Creed - Arms Wide Open, P!nk - Perfect, I Hope You Dance, can't think of her name now, etc...) i wanna play for it, and the father isn't in the picture (his choice) but i want the baby to know my dads voice. I'm so excited for this!!!
Avatar f tn I have noticed that my baby wont move unless i play music. When I get worried that he isn't moving I play some baby Mozart and he moves to the side where the music is coming from. Has any of this happend to anyone?
Avatar f tn I use shoutcast and listen to mother nature sounds or meditation music for the relaxing propperties

8793709 tn?1409594060 but I played music all the time to my babies. I just used regular ear buds. To this day, they love the music they listened to in utero.
Avatar f tn I've heard of the belly buds, and thought about getting a pair, I love all kinds of music from classical to k-pop, so I'd like for my little one to enjoy music too. In the car I turn the music up a little louder to try and let the baby hear.
Avatar m tn According to my cat's chiropractor this means that her left brain is not working correctly. (Left brain controls right eye.) He has suggested stimulating my 14 year-old cat's brain with Mozart music or any 4/4 time music, especially one instrument melodies. My cat's right pupil does not contract when a light is flashed in it so the idea may be the same as long as there is no other organic problem with the cat. We both like the music so there's no problem there.
Avatar m tn It's 8 in the morning and I did not take the Sonata last nite. A little jittery but not much. I think I will leave off all of it l off and see how it goes. Not much can be worse than the constant jitters.
5624774 tn?1374284525 Try playing some music by your belly. My baby seems to react to Mozart !
4268628 tn?1375041176 First off practice a breathing technique this will help lower your blood pressure in moments of anxiety and help you sleep better at night. Take in a deep breath for 4 counts, hold it for 4 counts, and release it slowly for 8 counts. Relax for a few seconds breathe normally.. then repeat the technique giving yourself breaks in between. Im a stressed out ftm dealing with a demanding school schedule, a needy husband, and of course a fair share of family drama and financial issues.
293845 tn?1227997530 When I was pregnant with my now 4 year old son I listened to Praise and Worship Music EVERY morning. Once he was born we had music we played in his room while he slept. I know they say music makes them smart...my son is very smart with an IQ of 135 I don't know if it's because he listened to music so much or not. However he really hates music. LOL it's quite humorous. If I try and play music in the car he will always tell me he doesn't like it and wants me to turn it off.
518031 tn?1295575374 s and earlier a whole lot better than the music out now. I think that that music has a lot better tone/beat and to me it seems a whole lot more enjoyable. When I turn the radio on, I always love to listen to classic rock and other oldies classics. I even enjoy listening to Mozart and Ludwig Van Beethoven.
Avatar f tn re recommending is something called The Listening Program, which is basically listening to classical music with some other back ground noises for a half hour each day. They say classical music is supposed to be good for all kinds of things in the brain. I guess that's why pregnant women will listen to it, etc. It's worth checking out. I hope that helps a little!
