Avatar f tn I went through some very very dark times, and received CBT and various meds. To cut a long story short I am now on low dose a/d, one which controls my ocd, I am a mother of 3 and I work as a healthcare assistant (which involves body fluids). If someone had asked me 12yrs ago if I could have worked in this job I would have laughed - I never thought I would be able to get on with my life.
Avatar m tn It sounds more like the Sonata is causing this, unless this is something you've been taking for awhile, as these are common side effects of it. I doubt the B complex is causing the problem, but I wonder, when are taking it and when are you taking Sam-e?
Avatar m tn Vincents, and Biosense Webster enough for giving me my life back, and taking the time to answer all of my questions about cardiac ablation. http://www.myfastheartbeatjax.com/ is a great way to learn more about cardiac ablation and AFIB, and read more stories like mine.
Avatar f tn Sleep medications to induce sleep are helpful for short term insomnia. For long term use they are best avoided, and besides you may develop tolerance to the medication. So, try weaning away from them and slowly try to adopt good sleep hygiene measures to promote sleep. Also, being overweight can worsen the osteoarthritis, so to begin with try light exercises like walking and then gradually build up under the guidance of a physiotherapist.
Avatar m tn My last refill for percocet was 10/19 and 12/09 for ambien and that was my plastic surgeon. My surgeon refused to give me anything else. He told me to find a PCP and I did 12/17 but this FNP isn't addressing my pain/insomnia effectively. On 12/17/10 she wrote me a script for indocin and benadryl. This didn't work so on 12/23/10 she wrote a questionable or I'm not sure who wrote it for sonata, percocet, and dicflonac.
Avatar f tn How are you taking that many at a time and still alive broski? You took 30 of the ambien 10 mg in three days? What's your dosing routine? Do you take them during the day or just at night? Withdrawal from Ambien can be life threatening just like benzos. Your best bet would be to see your doctor and be honest with what is going on here and see about seeking some help with this mess you're in. I take one 10 mg Zolpidem a night and cannot fathom taking more than that.
Avatar f tn I am depressed over this as well as postpartum issues and have just been put on Celexa for anxiety and depression as well as Sonata for sleep by a recommended psychiatrist. The Sonata is too short-acthing though. I called the doc on call but he does not want to prescribe anything stronger until tomorrow, if adding melatonin and/or benadryl does not help. I am currently wearing a holter monitor and have also worn en event monitor recently.
Avatar n tn I ran into a moving car on my bicycle today and hit my shoulder onto the car. I was checked by medical staff at the accident but I said I was fine. My shoulder hurts and there is a bump on the top of the right shoulder. I have an appointment to see the dr. tomorrow morning but what do I do in the mean time? Do I restrict the movement? Or will that make my movement more restricted? I've been icing it and taking ibuprofen. I can raise my arm above my head but it hurts.
Avatar m tn t been around much lately but I do check in regular. Tx had me bed ridden for about 8 months and being self employed my work just piled up. Starting to get a handle on it now. I feel very well, am working hard, eating and sleeping well, am back on my bicycle every day. There are a couple of lingering sx, nothing major, some skin stuff and short term memory issues. I have always been absent minded but this is ridculous!
Avatar n tn So was my daughter when she was hit by an automobile making a right turn, so was I when I did a face plant. You can never be too careful on a bicycle and its why I now do my bicycle riding on an exercise bicycle. Stay safe Paul.
Avatar n tn Hi while I was in treatment I took ambien and it got me maybe 3 hours at most. I had lot trouble sleeping and if I did sleep it was for very short periods of time. I took ambein for the last 4 months of my treatment. when I finished I took 1/2 pill till it was gone. maybe for a week with no addition but everyone is different. I took my rib at around 3 pm in afternoon but that did not seem to help either.
Avatar f tn I was really worried about my baby not moving, I had a cold glass of water, had a snack took some Apple juice. And hadn't felt baby yet. After a few minutes I Googled " ways to make baby move while pregnant" and giggling my belly came up..so iI giggled my belly and all of a sudden she moved, and hasn't stopped since I think my poor baby was napping and I felt so bad after cause I feel like I interrupted her sleep.
Avatar m tn I'm sorry for occupying your time, when I was riding a bicycle last week, someone maliciously placed the needle of the syringe on the seat. Unfortunately, I was stabbed and I was worried about the risk of HIV 1. If a hollow injection needle that is NOT CONNECTED TO THE SYRINGE is pierced into the body and there is HIV blood in the injection needle, will this cause infection? 2. I know that infectious body fluids will be inactivated immediately in the air (as anxiousnomore said).
317217 tn?1456286778 Theres a lot of back story but trying to break this story down, my partners mum (K) has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and a borderline personality disorder. The problem is, and its big, is that the whole family have been torn, literally apart. K has turned to alcohol and has been sectioned on a ward, has now caused criminal damage and attacked people, has started cutting herself and has taken numerous over doses.
Avatar n tn They have hired me as his arms and driver. Luckily, he only works for 1-3 hrs a day for decent wages. Money is, but isn't a factor. Just when you figure an additional $300/mo to add him to the $320/mo I already pay for my ins, on top of the $58/mo for dental ins, and $1000/yr that I put into a HSA, we both thought about it and declined it.
13619738 tn?1431114515 My baby is 13days old and has constipation but belly rubs aren't helping shift bowel movements! I can see how much it pains him and have been told I can't give him cooled boiled water to help.. Any other tips I can use?
Avatar m tn It's not really a quote but a true story..Willie Nelson's record executive for his label had told him "Willie, I already told you 4 times we don't like that song. Willie replied "Well then I guess that makes me about 4 times behind on tellling you to kiss my ***! I loved that and still laugh when I hear it. Hope it didn't offend anyone. But thats funny right there now. ha! ha!
Avatar m tn For some background, I am a 22 year-old male. I am a very active cyclist and ride a bike for fun, competition, and for traveling to work. So I'm usually on a bicycle 5-6 days a week, even if it's for a short time. I eat a very healthy diet that includes lots of fiber and almost no fried or processed foods. I started having hemorrhoid issues two years ago that included painful bathroom visits and some blood when wiping.
Avatar n tn I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal. Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).
Avatar f tn so i will be medically induced tomorrow.. any story that will help me not to get nervous on my delivery???
582281 tn?1267822196 Yeah that's where the fretboard comes from. I used to be very much into blues, way back when. Hurt my back for awhile, but I'm slowly getting back into it. Wish I could play the harp, front man power and all, plus all the passion.
Avatar n tn Just pain without anything touching it? Did you injure it, like on a bicycle? Best bet is to see a doctor and get a physical exam. COULD be a hernia, you're about the right age.
