I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function.
The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Valium is not a good drug to take to go to sleep with, it may help you drift off, but you could benefit from a milder benzo as mentioned already. Talk to your doctor, I think even Tylenol PM would be better than valium. Valium taken regularly will make you forget stuff and you may have brain fog already.
I didnt trust this prescription or the pharmacy. I thought everything was good and I will pick up my Sonata on Monday. Well, Monday 12/27 came and a new pharmacist told me she had to verify all 3 of my controlled substances. I guess the pharmacist on Sunday didn't cancel the percocet/diclofenac or who knows. Anyway, the new pharmacist told me the doctor hasn't verified my prescription. I had enough and told the new pharmacist on site to cancel all 3 prescriptions.
How are you taking that many at a time and still alive broski? You took 30 of the ambien 10 mg in three days? What's your dosing routine? Do you take them during the day or just at night? Withdrawal from Ambien can be life threatening just like benzos. Your best bet would be to see your doctor and be honest with what is going on here and see about seeking some help with this mess you're in. I take one 10 mg Zolpidem a night and cannot fathom taking more than that.
I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
My RE put my dh on clomid last cycle. It seemed to increase his count. I have read that it may not increase the count and that it really is for hormonal imblances. Nonetheless, I have not heard of it decreasing the count. I think you should have more tests done to look into what is going with the count as that is a drastic drop.
But remember, on the bright side, it only takes 1, although I know we like to hear high #s, reality/science calls for 1.

I love that I can just simply ask my fiancee to bottle feed our son through the night so I can have one nights sleep and with no hesitation he'll do it. After working his long hours. Getting up with a newborn hour after hour is sooo exhausting and he acknowledges this and still helps out when needed. So thankful for him. He's seriously the best. Shout out to all of the wonderful men and daddies doing their part!
Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
I've used Ambien for sleep several periods of time over the years, and carefully weaned myself off after things settled down. I would break the 10 mg. in half and found it quite effective. I get at least 7 good hours of sleep with it.
This "cocktail" that you've put together has to stop. Ask you prescribing Dr. for a good sleep aid - not everyone responds well to Sonata.
As you posted in the Agoraphobia forum, I have to ask if you suffer from this condition.
If not, good, if so, keep posting as you move on. It can be a challenge to start over without your mate. In your case, sounds like you have good things to look forward to.
Thanks Good to know but went to doc when it first stopped he said prepost men gave me pills to bring it on.... Now what women in her right mind would take pills to bring it on after praying for God to take it away hahahaha tossed the pills !!!!!! never sweated much as I do not and the other thing hasnt calmed down it that a menopause system????? and why is the word men on my question?
