I've been having very bad insomnia, and used Xanax from the 11th of this month to the 16th of this month. I was prescribed 20 .5 mg pills, and used 12 of them during that span of time (not quite 2 a day, but that's the average, I guess). Had bad anxiety attacks after getting off, but Im not sure if that's from general anxiety/mental problems, or from the drug itself.
I had another panic attack and went to the emergency room for it and was prescribed Sonata 5MG (30 capsules).
my dr just put me on sonata for sleep and i am being treated for add w/ritalin,lamictal for bpd,wellbrutrin depression, and nerourotin for nerve pain and a few days ago i started grinding my teeth together, looks like i am chewing gum all the time and i also am making grunting sounds.
I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function.
The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Anyway, when I took it to the pharmacy, all of the medications was controlled substances, percocet, sonata, and diclofenac. I was shcoked but the pharmacist tech already scanned it and I trust the FNP. I always go to this same pharmacy and never had a problem filling my prescriptions and my disabled problem. The pharmacist was even willing to fill the diclofenac at the time. I decline and told her I would pick them up Monday when all 3 were ready and I this didn't fill right.
I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
I took (somehow) 1 10 mill.(Lortab) day before and 1 10 mill.(Lortab) yesterday. Nothing today ... I went to CVS and got that B6 stuff and some Centrum.. Today I have had nothing and taken
1. 1 Imodium
2. 1 B6 Pill
3. 1 Centrum
4. 1 Potassium pill
5. and 1 Childrens Flintstone Vitamin...
I have withdrawn before but always felt bad the first day and worst the sec. I havent felt bad today at all !!!!
Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
BUT DURING THOSE OFF TIMES HE ALWAYS DEALT WITH A QUITE A FEW DIFFERENT WOMEN..I DEALT WITH PROBABLY ABOUT 4 GUYS ALTOGETHER DURING OUR BREAKUPS. I HOWEVER ALWAYS USED PROTECTION..I DONT BELIEVE HE ALWAYS DID BC HE HATED CONDOMS..IN ANY CASE FOR THE LAST 3MONTHS I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH A NEW GUY, AND IN MY RECENT GYN DR. APPT FOR FEMALE IRRITATION LAST WEEK I WAS TOLD I HAVE HERPES.
Hi, my girlfriend and I just used the today sponge for the first time yesterday. We had sex three times but I pulled out before ejaculation each time simply because I was nervous about it not being in the right place. Later that night when she removed the sponge it was torn in half. Today during intercourse she experienced some discomfort. Upon removal of the sponge there was some green goo on it. Almost like a mucous.
in Tylenol PM), 2 ounces of Nyquil, one Lunesta or Sonata (whichever I can lay hands upon), and one 1 mg Xanax (but not every night, to avoid addiction). When I can take all of it, ninety five percent of the time I sleep within an hour or an hour and a half. Without the xanax it still works about half of the time.
I really try not to use this form for anything otherthan medical questions or support. This is my second pregnancy and I have used this app a lot through both pregnancies. Thanks to my questions being answered and experiencing one pregnancy and labor I feel like I should answer all the questions I know (or feel like I know) the answers to. And I always answer to the best of my abilities, or at least offer some support.
I am depressed over this as well as postpartum issues and have just been put on Celexa for anxiety and depression as well as Sonata for sleep by a recommended psychiatrist. The Sonata is too short-acthing though. I called the doc on call but he does not want to prescribe anything stronger until tomorrow, if adding melatonin and/or benadryl does not help.
I am currently wearing a holter monitor and have also worn en event monitor recently.
Hi I just joined this site last week and am having problems with all the shortened form of words on here. Can anyone help me with the abbreviations? Eg) AF, BFN, CD, MC, TCC etc etc can't remember all of them.
You will not have w/d from ambien if you have only used it a few times. It is extremely addictive so be very careful with it. I used it for several months during w/d from hydros and then I had major problems from using the Ambien as prescribed NEVER abused it. It has taken me months to get over it. My sleep is just now returning to normal the ambien does more harm than good in the long run.
I am so exusted, and can only lay in bed with the heating pad for my bladder,but,etc,I walk around and try to do somethings and then feel like Im gonna collaspe. I am sooo sleep deprived....Ive tried trazadone,sereoqol, melatonin, valerian, kava kava, sonata,abmbian and the cr one, lunesta, rozarom. I went to the emergancy room saturday afternoon b/c was about to lose my mind and I was in pain, They were very nice, I told the doctor everyting.
Weirdly he's into the classics. Beethoven and Mozart. Things like that. Moonlight sonata gets him real still and he doesn't move. When its over he kicks like crazy till I put it back on. Anything played on a piano or violin seems to sooth him. He also loves when I sing to him. Could be anything.
My father just had a cystoscope done and the doc didn't use any form of anesthesia. He said it hurt so much that he will never go back/do it again. However, everything I read said anesthesia is used--local or general (or even sedation). Can someone tell me what is the proper way to have a cystoscope done?
Also, after the cysto he bled for a WEEK profusely. That doesn't seem normal either.
I am having a much better day today. I had my women's bible study group last night and it just gave me a lot of hope. I have not shared my addiction yet, but I am constantly reminded of God's grace and how he will not leave me. (I hope this does not offend anyone.) I WILL get clean for my daughter, but most importantly for myself. Our time here is so limited and I don't want to waste another breath thinking about these stupid pills!
