Avatar f tn Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort. For the itching antihistaminics like Benadryl or Claritin can be taken. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar n tn My husband recently finished a five day treatment of solumedrol. He has been sweating terribly, through a sheet and mattress pad. Is this a common side effect? Also he is sooooooo moody, how long does this last? Thanks in advance.
Avatar f tn Even genital warts cannot be ruled out as it is spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner. I sincerely advise you to consult a dermatologist and get yourself evaluated for these possibilities. I hope it helps. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor.
97654 tn?1214348650 ve had a horrible experience with Solumedrol as well.....Back in March I had extreme leg and groin numbness and went on IV Solumedrol for 3 days....I had a nasty reaction to it, but it DID take away the numbness and vision problems almost immediately....Well, within 48 hours anyway..... In May the left side of my head and face went numb and because I was visiting the MS Clinic at that time, I declined the Solumedrol treatment.....That numbness didn't go away for 20 days.....

710218 tn?1230645978 I was sweating profusely, more than I ever have before. The red bumps went away around 24 hours after I cooled down. I don't recall much flaking, but perhaps a very little and only after the red bumps went away (still very little). It only affected my forehead, but I couldn't see my scalp, obviously. I am concerned this could be seb derm, although after looking it up, I don't think so.

Avatar n tn The trapped sweat leads to irritation, itching and to a rash of very small blisters, usually in a localized area of the skin. These rashes may occur in the face, neck, skin folds, areas of the body that may rub against clothing, such as the back, chest, and stomach. This can be prevented by avoiding activities that induce sweating, using air conditioning to cool the environment, wearing light clothing and in general, avoiding hot and humid weather and taking frequent cool showers .

Avatar f tn I'm not sure if this is even eczema but I have a patch of red, raised skin on my thigh and than another on my lower leg. I'm not sure what causes this... it doesn't itch or anything. Any ideas???
Avatar n tn i would like to upload a picture because its not the dieases you just diagnosed, its a more red color then normal and the skin is very hard.. i dont have it any other place then on my palms and feet soles.
Avatar m tn I seemed to have noticed a small red patch of skin on the underside of my penis that looked somewhat scaly at parts. When I stretch the skin apart, there seems to be a small single cut/crack in the skin. I probably would not have even noticed this if I wasn't concerned with that area. Also, I live in a very hot environment and I tend to sweat a lot in that region throughout the day and when I sleep.
Avatar n tn Dear Doctor/Specialist For the past 2 years, I have suffered from Anhidrosis (Absent Sweating). This has been pure hell for me because of the symptoms I suffer from. The symptoms I speak of are 1)Absent Sweating, 2)High Body Tempreature, 3)Hot Red Flushed Face and 4) Dry Skin. My body can't cool down properly and I need to take a very cold shower and remain in air condtioned room in order too cool down. My face is hot and red and has the look of a permant sunburn.
Avatar m tn It feels like i am being stabbed by millions of needles, I itch, and my skin turns bright red. Once I actually start sweating, and there is actual persperation, the pain goes away. Even if I am swimming and start to "sweat" the pain comes. My father, a doctor, thought it was a sort of allergy and gave me Atarax, I think that was it, but it didn't help. During the summers, the pain doesn't come.
Avatar m tn initially when i had the red bumps, my skin itched, but when the skin turned white my skin didnt itch anymore. the spots turn red if they are in the sun for too long. i am also constantly playing sports and do not go a day without sweating. can anybody tell me what this condition is.
Avatar n tn I also have little red bumps popping up on my skin. They are on my arms, legs, and belly. Like Tommy (the original question I found, same situation, they are too small to be mosquito bites, and I don't lay in the grass to get chiggers. One of the doctors said something about it being a heat rash and using benadryl cream for the itch. How can heat rash be prevented? Does suntan lotion help?
