Avatar f tn Last fall I noticed many of them sneezing, and they have leaky eyes and now that winter is here they are really coughing and sneezing with eyes and noses that are leaking. I feel so sorry for them and I don't know what they have? I have been giving them lots of warm meals and cleaning their eyes and noses. Thank you.
Avatar f tn I have been sneezing and stuffy nose 5 weeks now. I have also had my left ear go out, meaning I can no longer hear in my left ear. I have tried Claritin, Benydryl, I have used ERO ear wax removal for the ear but it is still "blocked" and I can't stop sneezing and watery eyes, and runny nose and stuffy nose no matter what medication I take. Help, It's been 5 WEEKS not stop of this!!!
Avatar f tn use your saline for the nose. as for watery eyes i dont have a clue i never noticed that with either of my kids. i too had drs tell me that newborns dont get allergies but who knows!!
Avatar n tn what i suspect you are talking about is a subconjunctival hemorrhage, or broken blood vessel over the 'white' part of your eye. known to be caused by sneezing, coughing, vomiting, etc. if that were the case it would appear to you as being your eye. no big deal. very common. for the most part benign. although you probably need an exam to make sure thats what this actually is. but the blood would not 'come out' of your eye.
Avatar n tn My girlfriend has the same thing. Violent sneezing and watery eyes all day with no other symptoms. The next day she is fine with little or no sneezing. It happens to her more often (once a month) in winter than in summer (once every few months). She had an allergy test done and it showed that she wasn't allergic to anything. She just got done with a very strict candida diet while taking Candex and probiotics. She just had a sneezing day yesterday so that didn't affect it.
Avatar n tn The primary treatment is simply avoiding the things that trigger your symptoms. It is often treated with a drying nasal spray (like Atrovent) and antihistamines like chlopheneramine and lovatidine are effective. Nasal decongestant drops too relieve congestion. There are tubes called 'Eustachian tubes' which connect the middle ear to the throat, this balances the air pressure in the ears.
Avatar n tn There may be irritation on the roof of the mouth or in the back of the throat. These symptoms follow with sneezing and runny nose. You can experience congestion, wheezing, headaches, and coughing. T he pollen count as well as humidity is high especially in the morning, as a result you can experience these symptoms as soon as you wake up. Keep windows closed when the pollen count is high. If possible it is better to use air conditioning. Also keep your home as allergy free as possible.
Avatar m tn I had sneezing fits for up to a half hour at a time.....I literally could get nothing done while I was doin' that...I couldn't see with my eyes closed the whole time like they are when ya sneeze, and I had a hand up constantly to catch the spray. I was talkin' to a friend on here one day and I had to tell him I couldn't talk because of the sneezing and I'd catch him when it was done....I finally got done, and then about 15 minutes later, it started up again!
11828737 tn?1421401720 the same story again so eventually he got three times antibiotics and the same stuff and the sneezing now is gone but he still has a bad eye and its closed and swollen and watery, yesterday the vet took a sample from his eye to run a test and mean while i need help coz i don't know what to do to help him...i ordered l-lysin coz i heard that it helps the immune system and it may help his eye to get better, im sad and don't know what to do i already spent hundreds of euros for nothing..
1232362 tn?1333139006 Is it at all possible to quarantine our Bunny for a day or two? Like in your bathroom with her own litterbox? I'm not sure if you ever got the Lysine, but if you did, start giving it to everyone right away. I KNOW it would be a huge hassle to quarantine since she'll probably wail, but I don't know what else to advise since I've never had more than one cat at a time. It *could* be allergies; you should know in a day or so by whether this progresses or not.
Avatar m tn Now I really ,really look forward to your good news. Cause we are simular???with the blood count stuff. How are your alt and ast's????
1530342 tn?1405020090 It’s simply an uncontrolled body response. Sneezing with your eyes open feels impossible without using your fingers to pry them open. Which has certainly been done, by one of the guys on Mythbusters and countless others. “It is certainly possible to keep your eyes open if you try while you are sneezing … but it requires working against the reflex,” says co-author Vreeman, assistant professor of pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine. “It’s a very strong response.
Avatar m tn ) I used to wake up in the middle of the night with the sensation of 1000 little spikes 'poking' inches away from my eyes. If I closed my eyes I could 'see' them. I covered my eyes with my arm and waited it out. They would eventually go away in 30 seconds, or a few minutes.
242588 tn?1224275300 D While most people gratefully welcome the longer days and warmer weather of spring, more than 35 million Americans dread the itchy eyes, runny nose, and sneezing that comes with the season’s pollens and mold spores. Seasonal allergies can be especially difficult for those people who also suffer from asthma, COPD, or other respiratory diseases. Fortunately, there are more treatments than ever to help relieve allergy symptoms and make breathing as easy and comfortable as possible.
Avatar n tn Your headached and chest pain could be upper respiratory could be bacterial but the docs should be able to see signs like active infection in your sinuses and hear stuff in your lungs? Do you have other signs like your coughing or sneezing? If not then I don't think it's an upper res infection. And your sore throat, did the docs see any redness? It could just be from post nasal drip. Plus you didn't respond to either anti-b. I'm not familiar with Avelox but Amoxicillian is a powerful one.
Avatar n tn But the pharmasist also suggested something else I was looking for could be purchsed with a perscription. If your not sure make sure you ask and keep looking and asking until you get an answer. I have had several doctors tell me that you can't be allergic to mint. But I did find out recently that if you are having your allergies tested mint is one, but it is on the end of a very long list. It has to be specifically asked for.
Avatar n tn Hi...I have been suffering with this for about 7 weeks....I started out with a head cold, then sinus infection (so I thought)...I was on several rounds of antiobiotics which the ENT doctor says killed off everything. My left eustachian tube has been blocked of and on and when it does pop slightly I feel pain....I have been checked for fluid and they claim is none...could there be residual fluid inside the tube that is not showing up or just massive inflammation in the tube...
Avatar dr m tn This is why it's important to inhale through your nose, especially when you are exercising. Your smell and taste buds are connected. If you can't breathe well through your nose, then your sense of smell will suffer, which means that your sense of taste will be altered as well. This can lead to appetite and weight issues. Your nose has vital nervous system connections to your lungs and heart.
Avatar m tn The spasm cough causes it all and when it goes away (usually 4 to 5 days) things are relatively normal although a normal cough stays with me for weeks after. I notice if I catch it early (which means I carry antibiotics with me all the time) it is not as nearly as bad. Doctors have diagnosed this as Asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma etc etc. All different specialists seem to have a different prognosis and the recommended pills over the years have not really done any good.
79998 tn?1291188201 The med wds are seriously messing with your head; read the PAWS info contained in the health pages on this site so you know what you are in for. Also, I applaud you for staying strong with your girl; you're right, clinging is not an attractive attribute and really pushes people away.
Avatar n tn When I was 14-15 my friend told me to sit upside down on my head on a couch, push and blow air into my head as hard as I could while he held my ears closed, and I held my nose and mouth closed so the air had nowhere to go. I pushed as hard as I could over and over for a few minutes with not having much room for the air to escape. Since I am not there, hypothetically speaking what kind of damage could have occured from all of this?
Avatar n tn my theory is that your immune sys is weak from the constant ongoing battle with HCV, this leaves your body open for other infections.
Avatar f tn ( From your description of what happened, it does sound like it could have been either a cardiac or cerebral event, but the only way to tell for sure what it was would be to have your vet perform a necropsy (autopsy). Many people don't want to put their pet through this, after all it won't bring them back and it does cost money to have done. If you feel it would give you closure, however, contact your vet and arrange to have it done. Again, my most sincere sympathies to you on your loss.
Avatar f tn She is now not sneezing and moving her legs around. She appears as if resting because both her eyes are closed but i know she can open one of her eyes. So what do i do next? I wouldnt prefer to go to the vet because of financial difficulty. And im not sure what to do.
Avatar n tn has recently become recognized as an effective detox treatment. I can wholeheartedly attest to it. Do yourself a huge favor, and bring it up with your Doctor. Also recognize the downside in that because this detox has been "easier", the deterrent factor of painful withdrawal isn't there, so the temptation for later relapse is a concern. Good luck, I really hope that I've helped.
Avatar m tn But not only embarassing, but by the time I'm done sneezing, I have a hard time enjoying my meal because my nose is then plugged so I can't taste the food as well and my eyes are tearing from the sneezing fit. So not only have I been embarassed by my sneezing, but I also feel like I've been "cheated" out of a good meal! My heart goes out to you - I know what you go through!
Avatar f tn IF you become wobbly whilst you are testing for Romberg but your not typically loosing your balance at other times too eg no matter what your doing when ever you close your eyes when standing - washing your hair in the shower, walking into a dark environment or the light goes out on you, doing laundry/dishes, kissing, sneezing, laughing, talking etc you really could just be misinterpreting it.
Avatar m tn 3) Shower before going to bed to wash away any pollen or mold that has collected on your hair and skin before you crawl in bad and sllep with it all night. 4) Keep the windows and doors closed as much as possible. 5) If you suspect a pet allergy, don't let the pet in your room. Your doctor would have other idease as well as searching on line. Feel better.
Avatar n tn Wanting to know if my symptoms line up with migraine.
242516 tn?1368227505 You can protect yourself by avoiding those who cough, ask those who do to cover their cough (not with their hands, eg. with a mask), practice good hygiene with hand washing and don't touch your own eyes, nose and mouth. What's important is that if in the last week you have been to Mexico, San Diego, Imperial County or Texas, and come back with a flu like illness with fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose, and possibly vomiting and diarrhea, call your doctor.
