yeah, my nutritionist told me its best to have a varied diet, not one that only focuses on one particular food group, such as protein. my mother in law went on the atkins a few years ago and she literally never ate carbs, her hair started looking dull and falling out, her skin got real dry, and a whole lot of other stuff going on. and it just didn't sound healthy, like for her snack she would throw strips of bacon in a ziplock back and toss in her purse....
