skelaxin

Avatar f tn Having some very bad lower back pain today that tylenol isn't touching. I was wondering about Skelaxin. I have some and have taken it in the past...but don't even remember side effects or how I felt taking it or anything. Is this addictive?Anybody know anything about it? Thanks!
Avatar m tn I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief. I have been taking it a bit more often than I did say 6 months ago.
Avatar n tn I don't think that amount of wine alone would elevate you enzymes but with the drugs you're taking I really don't know. I believe that Skelaxin may be associated with elevated liver enzymes is some people but again, I am not sure of this. I would Google all of the drugs you're taking with the word "liver" or "hepatic" eg "Skelaxin Liver".
Avatar m tn My doc just gave me Skelaxin for my back pain and said it might help. I have been trying to cut back taking hydro and I don't want to take anything that is going to make me woosey. I started into therapy last week and it is really making my back hurt. The nurosurgeon I saw said I have from L-1 to S-1 messed up and he does not think surgery would help any. So he just said take the hydro because your not taking that many (only 3 a day 7.
Avatar f tn t take during the day,as I have small kids and it made me VERY sleepy!) Then I was put on Skelaxin and I feel like that does nothing( 800mg. 3x day) I could take 2 at one time and still...nothing? I think I'm going to ask to go back on Flexeril(for bed time) to reduce my pain and spasms) Thanks!
Avatar f tn oh and broke down and took a muscle relaxer. skelaxin. this shouldn't be a problem right? found an old script. ibuprofen was not cutting it.
Avatar f tn Your desrcriptions suggest non-odontogenous toothache. There are muscular toothache, sinus toothache, neuropathic toothache, cardiac toothache, and neurovascular toothache. If ENT can not identify sinus pathology , seeing an orofacial pain specialist to investigate the source of pain is warranted.
Avatar m tn Can anyone provide an explanation for toothache which moves from one tooth to another ? One day there is convincing toothache in one tooth, the following day it is in an entirely different tooth and the next day in a third tooth.
Avatar m tn The muscle relaxer the dr gave me is Skelaxin. Anybody else ever try this. I read on drug ******* the reviews and some people said it really helped without making them dizzy like most of them do. Man I sure hope it helps so I can keep weening off the hydros.
Avatar m tn Anyone know anything about skelaxin? My doc just sent a script for that To my pharmacy in place of soma....
Avatar n tn m having an earache...is the toothache causing the earache or is the earache causing the toothache and what does all of this mean...when I take Advil, the pain goes away temporarily...does this mean I have an infection? Could it be wisdom teeth?
Avatar f tn I never had a toothache before in my life but since I been pregnant I been having toothache! Have any one of you experience this?
Avatar f tn Im 34weeks and I have very painful toothache I have tried all kinds of things. It it be safe to take a pain killer now?
450140 tn?1317947304 Today, my neuro suggested i try SKELAXIN (muscle relaxer) for the spasams I am experiencing. I will start those tomorrow. It says take 3x a day, every 8 hours. And if need be a 4th one can be taken. Does this sound right ........every 8 hours?? Please tell me what you think. I pray that everyone is doing ok. This limboland is really taking its toll on me and my family. Have not worked since Jan. that is putting a strain on us finacially. Not to mention, all the worry about my health.
Avatar n tn You are probably afflicted with non-odontogenous toothache, which may be caused by muscular toothache, neuropathic toothache, sinus toothache, cardiac toothache,or orofacial neurovascular toothache. Seeing an orofacial pain specialist is advised.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know of any good home remedies for toothache. Could my toothache possible have anything to do with going into labor?
Avatar m tn I decided to take vivitrol to get off alcohol and all of a sudden Iv'e had toothache everyday. Iv'e had one partial tooth pulled where the dentist thought the toothache was coming from and the toothache came back a couple days later so I went back to the dentist and he found a dead tooth next to where he pulled the partial with no sign of abscess but said it might be to small to see so he pulled that one.
Avatar n tn I have had some kind of cold/flu, sinusitis (all in one) for about three weeks. Finally I went to the doctor she prescribes antibiotics, anticough medicine etc. I also developed somehow a muscle spams around my neck aparently due to excesive coughing. The pain became the worst ever to the point of tears. The doctor prescribed skelaxin 800mg, it didn't help, then I added 400mg Advil.. The pain somehow got better, but still there. So Went for Motrin 800mg with Skelaxin, didn't help.
9038886 tn?1402125726 I have the worst toothache.. I want to go to the dentist tomorrow can I still go even though I am pregnant?
Avatar f tn If endodontist can not identify dental pathology, it's possible that you may have non-odontogenous toothache, which is best managed by orofacial pain specialist.
