Skelaxin snorting

Common Questions and Answers about Skelaxin snorting

Avatar n tn I started by taking them orally then went to snorting them; I take about 150mg a day. I don't know who I am anymore. I can't live with them and I can't live without them. This drug has completely taken over my life! I have tried to stop numerous times but I can't bear with the withdrawls. I am sure I could go to a methadone clinic but I do not want to replace one addiction with another. I know I am a strong person and I would like to conquer this evil drug on my own.
Avatar n tn but when you awaken, snorting a line will bring you back to that miserable addixtion. I've tried Dilaudid a few times in the past -- apparently, it the fave for heroin addicts, who cook the tabs and shoot them, which is not my thing. It's action is similar to morphine -- no "pick-me-up," just the downer effect of morphine and/or heroin.
Avatar m tn When I would go see the Dr, he would just tell me that I was fine and give me flexeril and Skelaxin to help with muscle issues. Each Dr. I've been to has treated me the same way saying it is all muscle related when I know I am in so much pain and those muscle relaxers don't help. I've even been transferred to a chiropractor to see if that helped.
Avatar f tn Personally I've never had a problem with muscle relaxers, I've had Flexeril, Skelaxin, etc. in my cabinet for months. The only reason I hesitate with the Soma is because I purposely got a prescription for it along with my vicodin JUST for the combination that I had heard about. And I'm not trying to give anyone any ideas or teach anyone anything bad (please kids - don't try this at home). Just giving you my own personal reason. For each and every one of us it's different.
Avatar f tn 5 years and when i couldnt get any or ran out of money temporarily, i neeeded something at all times to ease the withdrawal so i weould doc shop, I went to voer 35 clinics including urgent cares, immediate cares, and hospitals complaining of crazy stories to where I fell or had a soccer goal hit my back and I couldnt bare the pain, I would always end up with most usually a script for vicodin 5mg, and like skelaxin or methocarbamol(nothing in a big pill), or soemtimes if they were "pen happy
Avatar m tn I know this is a far cry from the 10 to 15, 80mg tablets of Oxycontin per day that I was snorting (long story what physical pain led to this), but still...I DO NOT want to get addicted to anything else! I thought the Suboxone was going to be something easy to get off of when the time came (approx. 6 mo. per my psychiatrist)! Please give your advise! Perhaps it would be easier to wean off the Suboxone before I get dependent on it?!
Avatar n tn have you ever taken skelaxin (muscle relaxer)? i've been prescribed that for my back. is it addictive or anything like that?
Avatar n tn I have been on Ultram (4 back pain), Zoloft (anxiety), Resperal and Resderal (sedative and anti-thinking, anxiety), Tylenol w/codeine (back pain), hydrocodine/Vicodin (back pain, crohn's), Xanax (anxiety), skelaxin (back pain), prozac (depression), 6mp(crohn's), over the counter sleep aids, herbal homeopathic remedies, you name it....and I wanted to let you know how they affected me...
