Avatar f tn I wanted to understand if he has to be cautious while using other drugs and what interaction Acitrom has with other drugs. He has been on Acitrom for a week now and has to use it for life. Also, could you please provide me with any website that gives all possible information on Acitrom? I searched through Google but wasnt successful in finding the relevant information. I found this website...Your quick reply will be highly appreciated.
Avatar f tn You would have to take quite bit at one time to even begin to feel the euphoria addicts crave. The only side effect with Skelexin, as with any other muscle relaxant, is that it can cause drowsiness. Luckily, Skelaxin is one of the LEAST sedating of the muscle relaxants.
Avatar n tn My husband is on so many medications, that i am truly worried about his health and the interaction of all these drugs. I will list them all and can you please tell me if they are safe to take with one another? My husband is only 38, he had a stroke last year he had a stent put in, now he is on plavix, atenolol, hydrochlorothiazide 25mg, last week his doc added niacin 500 mg, simvastatin 20, flexeril and tramadol, also his one aspirin each day, these are just so many meds, are they safe?
Avatar m tn Hello youngdude421. Neither Skelaxin (metaxalone) nor Celebrex (celecoxib) cause dependence. Your body will not crave either medication. You will not develop tolerance to either medication, nor will you suffer withdrawal symptoms in their absence. The usual dose of Skelaxin is 800mg every 6 to 8 hours (three or four times a day). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose, and don't mix Skelaxin with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants.
Avatar f tn If you have any personal knowledge about any of these drugs, would you be willing to share your experiences with me? I really need to know if the "Pros" are WORTH the "Cons". Here they are (in no particular order): Gabitril Neurontin Lyrica Skelaxin Effexor Cymbalta Triavil Celebrex Emla Patches I'm open to any other suggestions as well. THANKS!!
Avatar n tn If you are self-treating with this medication, then you need to consult your Doctor. Prilosec can interact with a number of drugs and increase the blood concentrations of these drugs. The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar n tn Does anyone know if there are any long term effects on your memory from any of these drugs or mixing these drugs? Any help would be appreciated.
Avatar n tn Rankett is right on, DO NOT DRINK WHILE YOU ARE ON DRUGS. Especially on certain antibiotics - drinking can cause dangerous interactions with the drugs. I don't know if yours would have this kind of interaction, but for God's sake why even chance it? How long's your drug regimen? A week? Two? Surely you can go that long without drinking.
Avatar m tn It is habit forming. Again, it is ONLY for muscle spasms or any other muscle problem. It will NOT help with the pain in your back. I suggest you call your doctor and ask for something else. There are several muscle relaxers that are not habit forming and work for that issue. Let us know how you are doing and what you decided.
1904872 tn?1325822415 Hi, How are you? As long as you do not have allergies with the medicine, there is nothing to be worried about. If you had finished your anti-Koch's medications already, there is no possible interaction with the previous drugs you took. Take the antibiotic as prescribed by your doctor to make sure that the throat infection is cured. Take care and do keep us posted.
Avatar m tn If you have been taking the combination together for a long time there is no risk of overdose. The problem with certain drugs is that they reduce the ability of the body to metabolize the drug, usually by oxidation but in some cases by reduction. This, initially the drug does not completely metabolize and has an extended half-life. This why it is dangerous to take grapefruit juice with certain medications. Follow me on this.
1735730 tn?1348952972 They are two different drugs. Just googling flexaril and zanaflex, many articles came up comparing them, such as this one: http://www.ehealthme.
Avatar f tn As the result of a back injury in February, I began taking Soma and 10 mgs of hydrocodone at night to help me sleep. I took no pain killers during the day, just Skelaxin. I stopped taking Skelaxin several weeks ago and am now in the process of discontinuing the Hydrocodone. I took the last Soma and 1/2 of a 5 mg tablet several nights ago. This is my second round with trying to get off this med. The problem is the insomnia or sleeplessness that occurs in the middle of the night.

Avatar f tn I completely forgot to ask if there was an interaction between these two drugs. I may not even have to take the xanax, only if I have a panic attack will I. Does anyone know if there is an interaction between these two? Also, I took 1/2 a promethazine (phenegran) for nausea in the AM around 7 because the antibiotics made me feel like I was going to throw up. Is there any reaction between the things I just named? Please let me know!
Avatar m tn I HAVE ORDERED MY ALINIA, SKELAXIN AND REQUIP FROM CANADA. YOU DO HAVE TO HAVE A VALID SCRIPT. ON MY REQUIP AND SKELAXIN I JUST CAREFULLY PEELED LABELS AND COPIED THEM AND FAXED IN. I USE PROGRESSIVE RX. JUST GO TO THEIR WEBSITE. FROM WHAT I RESEARCHED THIS ONE IS CHEAPEST, SEEMS TO BE ON THE UP AND UP.
179856 tn?1333547362 As with all drugs, the pamphlets should be read to see if any interaction of other drugs might cause a severe reaction with other medication, not to say synthroid would but with the meds everyone is taking during treatment it would almost be foolish not to.
527657 tn?1214051850 Concurrent use of gemfibrozil and statin drugs such as simvastatin should be avoided. Please discuss the possible risks vs. benefits of taking these 2 drugs with your physician.
