Having some very bad lower back pain today that tylenol isn't touching. I was wondering about Skelaxin. I have some and have taken it in the past...but don't even remember side effects or how I felt taking it or anything. Is this addictive?Anybody know anything about it? Thanks!
I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief. I have been taking it a bit more often than I did say 6 months ago.
I don't think that amount of wine alone would elevate you enzymes but with the drugs you're taking I really don't know.
I believe that Skelaxin may be associated with elevated liver enzymes is some people but again, I am not sure of this. I would Google all of the drugs you're taking with the word "liver" or "hepatic" eg "Skelaxin Liver".
My doc just gave me Skelaxin for my back pain and said it might help. I have been trying to cut back taking hydro and I don't want to take anything that is going to make me woosey. I started into therapy last week and it is really making my back hurt. The nurosurgeon I saw said I have from L-1 to S-1 messed up and he does not think surgery would help any. So he just said take the hydro because your not taking that many (only 3 a day 7.
t take during the day,as I have small kids and it made me VERY sleepy!) Then I was put on Skelaxin and I feel like that does nothing( 800mg. 3x day) I could take 2 at one time and still...nothing? I think I'm going to ask to go back on Flexeril(for bed time) to reduce my pain and spasms)

oh and broke down and took a muscle relaxer. skelaxin. this shouldn't be a problem right? found an old script. ibuprofen was not cutting it.
I have a very high tolerance when it comes to medication. I have a pinch nerve on my left shoulder (going to get it Xray to see what it really is), which only gets aggravated when I'm stress or overwork it in the gym. My Dr has tried Flexeril, Skelaxin, 500 mg of naproxen and it hasn't work. Now she prescribe tramadol. I have read bad things about it and its side effects. Everything is dated from a few years ago, so I would like update from anyone that is taking it.
The muscle relaxer the dr gave me is Skelaxin. Anybody else ever try this. I read on drug ******* the reviews and some people said it really helped without making them dizzy like most of them do. Man I sure hope it helps so I can keep weening off the hydros.
Anyone know anything about skelaxin? My doc just sent a script for that To my pharmacy in place of soma....
still unable to get medical insurance. my daughter is experiencing hallucinations. is this symptom a norm with chiari? I never know when to get emergency help. thank you for your help. my best wishes for all of you.
health anxiety but stress and my nana just passed away on Friday from liver cancer but before she did she kept seeing things little bugs crawling on her and the doctors said it was hallucinations because she was dying.
I am learning so much about bipolar and I have found that I have, in fact, been having mild hallucinations my whole life. I have not talked a lot to anyone about it in my family or any of my friends. I'm afraid they will think I'm super crazy and reject me or not let me around their kids because they think I'm dangerous. I just want some insight about how to approach the subject. I really want my loved ones to understand what I'm going through.
I thought I answered this post already?? I am BP I, rapid cyling, mixed state. I only have hallucinations when I am manic, as most bp's do. I have speakers appear on the wall and play rock and roll music, kind of cool. Other than that, I see little stuff whizz by in my prefreal vision. I did overdo it playing too much World of Warcraft last year and thought I was living in the game for awhile.

I used to have audio hallucinations a long time ago before I was stabilized but all of a sudden I am starting to hear voices. I am not schizophrenic or psychotic (yet). I have Bipolar Disorder and have been going thru a lot of stress lately. My theraist siad it was just a symptom at this point and it is probably caused by stress. She told me to keep an eye on it and if it gets worse to tell my mental health care provider... I have an appointment with her on Sept 7th.
He has slight swelling on the brain and was given oxygen at the hospital for several days.......are these hallucinations normal in his case?

I have had some kind of cold/flu, sinusitis (all in one) for about three weeks. Finally I went to the doctor she prescribes antibiotics, anticough medicine etc. I also developed somehow a muscle spams around my neck aparently due to excesive coughing. The pain became the worst ever to the point of tears. The doctor prescribed skelaxin 800mg, it didn't help, then I added 400mg Advil.. The pain somehow got better, but still there. So Went for Motrin 800mg with Skelaxin, didn't help.
