skelaxin drug testing

Having some very bad lower back pain today that tylenol isn't touching. I was wondering about Skelaxin. I have some and have taken it in the past...but don't even remember side effects or how I felt taking it or anything. Is this addictive?Anybody know anything about it? Thanks!

t take during the day,as I have small kids and it made me VERY sleepy!) Then I was put on Skelaxin and I feel like that does nothing( 800mg. 3x day) I could take 2 at one time and still...nothing? I think I'm going to ask to go back on Flexeril(for bed time) to reduce my pain and spasms) Thanks!

I don't think that amount of wine alone would elevate you enzymes but with the drugs you're taking I really don't know. I believe that Skelaxin may be associated with elevated liver enzymes is some people but again, I am not sure of this. I would Google all of the drugs you're taking with the word "liver" or "hepatic" eg "Skelaxin Liver".

The muscle relaxer the dr gave me is Skelaxin. Anybody else ever try this. I read on drug ******* the reviews and some people said it really helped without making them dizzy like most of them do. Man I sure hope it helps so I can keep weening off the hydros.

I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief. I have been taking it a bit more often than I did say 6 months ago.

She was concerned about them drug testing her and her daughter and was wondering was anyone from Philadelphia that has experience with this. She doesn't want her child taken away but in all actuallity she shouldn't of to begin with but now thats besides the point. am currently drug testing after 2 pills i stopped taking but am wondering how long before the opiates are out your system?

I told my dr I smoked due to sickness and insomnoa and he told me they wont drug test unless they suspect the mother is a bad drug addict. Drug tests cost a lot of money. But it really depends on the hospital. But I would for sure tell ur doctor because that way he's aware and wont order one.

I don't know anything about drug testing, but i think there are over the counter ones you can get at a pharmacy or whatever... as far as the emotional rollercoaster...it can go on for a while, maybe a month or two, but for me it's over after a week...try to exercise and stay busy and you don't have to worry as much...idle hands are the devil's work so they say...exercise releases endorphins like the pills did, it can really help.

How do you know if they drug test you or not? They make us pee in a cup every time we have an appointment but I didn't know they were drug testing until my friend failed one at her second appointment.

I have been reading about drug testing on the internet. I don't know if I will get one on my first appt or not, I have nothing to hide so it really don't matter. I just don't want to "hold it" for a long time in case I have to have one cause I can't go on demand lol Anyway I also read that antibiotics can give off a false positive drug test? She will NOT prescribe it to me for that very reason. It was a drug I used for many years (combined it with hydros for relief and then later for the affect). I was given Flexeril post surgery and again with 2 back flare ups in the past 9 months. Another muscle spasm/relaxant that is non-addictive is Baclofen. Soma CAN be abused.....I abused it and always missed it when I couldn't get my hands on any. If you are in recovery.....my counsel would be to stay FAR away from Soma.

I have taken muscle relaxers, migraine meds, prednisone (6 days) and more and more Skelaxin. I started seeing a neurologist two weeks ago and he put me on the prednisone and skelaxin he also did a MRI (w/o contrast) that came back negative.

Hi, does anyone know much about drug driver testing in Australia? I wondered if prescribed medications for chronic pain like methadone, fentanyl etc show up on the test and what happens if it does?
