t take during the day,as I have small kids and it made me VERY sleepy!) Then I was put on Skelaxin and I feel like that does nothing( 800mg. 3x day) I could take 2 at one time and still...nothing? I think I'm going to ask to go back on Flexeril(for bed time) to reduce my pain and spasms)

First of all, I do not smoke marijuana... Recently I had a drug test for a new job, and it tested positive for marijuana. I'm confused, pissed off, and left wondering how the hell this happened. After looking up random posts on various websites, I learned that ibuprofen could have messed with the results.
Before you call shenanigans, let me make note that I take around 3,000 mg of ibuprofen daily. I am a poor boy from a poor family, and can't afford dental care.
She x-rayed my knee and saw arthritis , which I knew was there. I have arthritis both kinds. Have taken 800 mg Ibuprofen for the pain, try not to take it often as I know it elevates BP and harmful to body. I also take aspirin, tylenol, and wear a Flector pain patch when it gets unbearable. I alternate with the pain meds dont take them the same days. The doctor put me on Tramadol for pain and made an appt. with my regular MD April 5th.
When I seen your message I was shocked 24 mg of suboxone is alot of suboxone. the most I took was 8 mg and went down to 2 mg. probably depends on what drugs you were on. That seems to be alot of meds for a day. I thought $200 dollars a month was alot for my suboxone. You should definitely talk to your docter.
Having some very bad lower back pain today that tylenol isn't touching. I was wondering about Skelaxin. I have some and have taken it in the past...but don't even remember side effects or how I felt taking it or anything. Is this addictive?Anybody know anything about it? Thanks!
I fell asleep in all 4 of my naps and entered REM in 30 secs. on one of them. My average fall asleep time or sleep latency was 3.6 mins and average time to enter REM was 5.4 mins. This was my first time having MSLT, but my other 3 overnight sleep test pretty consistent. I get more REM than I need though, but no Stage 3 or 4. My 2nd sleep test was performed taking 4.5 ml of Xyrem at bedtime and again at around 2:00 am and I still got less than 5 minutes of Stage 3 or 4 sleep.
The best muscle relaxer I know of for me is flexeril (cyclobenzaprene). It comes in 10 mg (flexeril) and 15 mg (amrix). It really helps me but when I take it, I go to sleep. I don't get a funny feeling and I don't get spaced out. I just get really tired really fast so I only take it at night on bad days and stick to 800mg ibuprofen and/or naproxen, sometimes medrol, which is a steroid..

I have a very high tolerance when it comes to medication. I have a pinch nerve on my left shoulder (going to get it Xray to see what it really is), which only gets aggravated when I'm stress or overwork it in the gym. My Dr has tried Flexeril, Skelaxin, 500 mg of naproxen and it hasn't work. Now she prescribe tramadol. I have read bad things about it and its side effects. I don't think that amount of wine alone would elevate you enzymes but with the drugs you're taking I really don't know.
I believe that Skelaxin may be associated with elevated liver enzymes is some people but again, I am not sure of this. I would Google all of the drugs you're taking with the word "liver" or "hepatic" eg "Skelaxin Liver".
I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief. I have been taking it a bit more often than I did say 6 months ago.
Out of curiosity, today I called my GI who also treats for Hep C and he also said my daily riba dose would be 800 mg because of my weight. Both doctors stated that the 800 mg dosage it is strictly because of my weight and no other reason.
