When I explained to the dentist that I had concerns about 2 implants supporting a bridge and one of the implants failing, making the bridge a complete failure, he told me I was wrong. When I told him that I was going to get a 2nd opinion from an prorthodontist he got extremely angry and down right verbally abusive. I did consult with a prorthodontist and he stated that I could have three implants to support the bridge. However, at this point I just want a 6-unit bridge attached to my canines.

I've been exercising for long time and i can feel my six pack (when i push my finger on my belly) but it's hidden under a layer of fat. Why? What should i do? Any tips?

I wouldn't worry at all! They say anything you do with in the first six weeks of pregnancy before the egg implants in ur uterus won't effect the baby! It's kinda like nature's defense. As long as u don't drink from here on out u and baby should be fine !

I have saline breast implants over the muscle. They will be ten yrs old in march. over the past six months nearly every bone & joint in my body has started hurting. I'm having chest wall pain and if I don't wear a bra every second, it feels as if my left breast is actually pulling the muscles away from my rib cage. My left breast also feels bruised on top. Yes, I believe my problem did start with the implants. I had an internal sinus lift to prevent this, but after eight days I was so miserable I asked them to remove the implants - which they did although they claimed this wasn't from the implants. . My sinus CT Scan showed a fistula that the docs. said could have been caused by the implants although the three (!) ENT docs I saw didn't mention that bacteria//food could enter it and didn't give me any advice on how to fix this!

I have a question for you regarding the implants--is it actually more difficult to detect b.c. once you have implants? I didn't realize this. I'm not planning on implants for now, but who knows what the future may bring. My left breast is steadily shrinking from surgeries! Sorry they won't pay for the MRI--more of us should complain/campaign to get that changed. My insurance won't cover the genetic test, plus a few other things, and it's so frustrating!

I had my dentist work up a treatment plan. Six hours in the OR, to complete everything I need done, comes to $12k. This included a remote link to someone to design the Cerec crowns. Add to this, the hospital costs, and I'm looking at close to $20k. If I do proceed with his treatment plan, I still do not have any way to get local treatment for major issues except for the hospital OR. Oral surgeons here do not do normal dentistry.

My DH has had his implants for about 7 years now. He has molar implants and loves them. He has never watched what he eats with them and crunches hard pretzels all the time. He is VERY happy. Are you considering an implant supported bridge? You would need two implants for that. I don't believe a bridge can be supported by a natural tooth and an implant. Implants will not move in the bone at all. A natural tooth has some "give" in the bone.

It was a non resistant Staph, still sensitive to Cefa. Off antibiotics for 2 weeks, inflammatory markers were normal. Slides taken during the revision when they replaced the metal implants on Jan 12 '10 showed less than one WBC per high power field.
