Does Sildenafil or actually having sex drastically lower blood pressure?
I made the following measurements and I do not understand the BP fluctuations?
1 hour after taking 60mg of Sildenafil - BP 146/94
After having sex - BP 125/77
In the morning - BP 160/102
Can Sildenafil be taken as a medicine to lower a BP?
What might have caused such big BP fluctuations specifically after night rest?
Hepatic Impairment
In volunteers with hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class A and B), sildenafil clearance was reduced, resulting in higher plasma exposure of sildenafil (47% for Cmax and 85% for AUC). The pharmacokinetics of sildenafil in patients with severely impaired hepatic function (Child-Pugh Class C) have not been studied. A starting dose of 25 mg should be considered in patients with any degree of hepatic impairment [see Dosage and Administration (2.5) and Clinical Pharmacology (12.3)].
Good advice, specialmom. I'm 4 months post-surgery from Prostate Cancer & still not experiencing erections, even with Sildenafil (my function before surgery was 100% - no ED issues at all). Using a vacuum pump (on Dr's advice) to try to pull blood into the chambers so that tissue doesn't atrophy while the nerve damage heals. Penis gets significantly larger when using it, but not really 'stiff'.
I am 83 and take Sildenafil once a week before breakfast and sex. I usually have an upset stomach for 1-2 hours after. It's the price I pay for sex.

It's obvious there's nothing physiological going on because you're certainly having erections with self-pleasuring, etc. So the problem has to do with being sexual with a partner and what that may represent to you.
Welcome to your 40’s. When you're younger and just beginning to be sexual with others, erections pop up everywhere--including when you don't want them! Post-pubescent men are highly excitable.
It is normal for many men to have erections off and on throughout the night. However, in your case, it may be too much Viagra. Cut your 100mg. pill in half and try that next time you think you need one. If that works out, you will also save money, since the prescription will go twice as long. I feel that at 27 you are too young to have to use Viagra.
I am 54 yrs old, I am being treated for constant back pain due to ruptured disks (I at this time do not want fused or metal in back) so I do take meds daily but I did not see anything that would cause issue. This ED started before the back issue and even when I get erect it will not stay erect although I can ejaculate. Sometimes it feels as though it becomes more erect after ejaculation. That's if I can get the thing to stand erect at all.

I sincerely feel that you should consult a urologist for the same if the oral medications are not able to treat the ED. I hope you have tadalafil also apart from sildenafil. The next step is usually papaverine injection but needs to be given by an expert only. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
