I learned some new compensatory skills courtesy of our friends. These were aimed at safety and comfort in kitchen. I thought I would share them 1. put everything within easy reach 2. watch about wearing long sleeves around the stove...fire hazard 3. get a comfy stool to set on while you are doing tasks, i.e chopping vegetables 4. if a knife is sharp then it is too sharp 5. keep a fire extinguisher in the kitchen 6. set a timer as a reminder to ck things on the stove or in the oven 7.

only about 1 percent of the population has hep c so first one of that small percentage of the population would have to have used the bottle prior and any blood in that bottle would have been in the solution for a long time and probably killed by then. It might be simpler to ask your friend if they have any blood borne illnesses. Or since this was a preplanned activity probably should have brought your own materials along as well as the piercing ring.

t generally cook meat I eat may be one in two month or so not habitual with safety measures. Meat was not new it was old and it wasn't vaccum packed either. What are the chances of destroying germs and other harmful bacteria with just a disinfectant?

I am frequently referred to as the messiest person in the kitchen. Two of my examples are. 1. I had taken a shower and decided to make some bread when I got out. I had reached for the flour only to have the lid come off and flour fell all over my hair. If the clean up of flour off the counter and the floor wasn't enough I had to rewash my hair. Flour and water makes paste. It took me forever to get my hair clean again. 2. Just today I made another mess.

yesterday i was working in my kitchen with my african maid helping me cutting the vegetables, she cutted her finger deeply & all her blood was on the plate, as soon as i picked the knife frm her hand , mistakenly i dnt knw hw , i cutted myself too, i cant belive watching , her blood on my finger & my finger was bleeding too , a fresh bleeding cut ..she's i think maybe hiv posotive i dnt knw but lets supoose she is hiv..well do i have a risk? do i need testing?

well, even though stormy is on hiatus for the time being, i'm hanging out in her kitchen with a cup o' coffee, eagerly waiting for her return. we watched "A Serious Man" last night and i think i need to watch it again. i really loved it as it sort of fed into and validated my inner conflict about what has been happening to my life.

not to keep my cats in...but to keep the dog out...the cats stay in the bedroom area while dear Marley gets the kitchen/livingroom area.. Occasionally Nemo ventures over the barrier(only a foot high..so I can easily step over) he'll come out and stare Marley down than jump back over to safety.....however my Sami, the bigger boy and the most aggressive is also a 'scaredy cat' he refuses to leave the safety of the bedroom..

Well I almost caused a fire kitchen bc my pot with oil boiled over. Thank god my husband was here to help me put it out. My pregnancy brain just totally took over and I forgot haha. Whoops. It scared the living poop out of me. Has anybody else been in this situation before? Prego brain takes over.

Thanks for posting the thread derek.... I too have many to thank for memorial day we have a few members that have served and u all know who u are or are family of a service member....thank u to all of u . And to those in my own family, my niece Abby is in the Navy, her sister's husband is in the Marines and their dad was also a Marine...and lastly my dad served in the Army..... It is with pride and gratitude that I enjoy and celebrate today,,....not with a picnic,.

My son is four and he is getting a play kitchen for Christmas from "Santa." I have no issues with it and neither do my family or friends; my son loves to do pretend play with household chores like cooking, dishwashing, laundry, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping. Oh, and he also LOVES babies, fuzzy little animals, and horses. Lol, and let me tell you, I certainly don't discourage any of it!

re going to be moving, and get this the closing is within a few days of the babies due date (august 13th) so the question is this. What (if anything) should we look for/keep in mind in the townhome in regards to baby safety.

me and my boyfriend (long distance) have both admitted to each other we're virgins. we've also discovered i'm the one with more experience. he's never gotten a ******** or a hand job, etc. i'm going over to visit him for a while in the summer, i've arranged to get on the birth control pill, and had mutliple talks with my mother and experienced friends about it's use in preventing pregnancies.

My question is will it harm me in any way for staying on it? I dont want to cause any more problems for myself by staying on it but evidently I lack serotonin and the paxil replaces it. Any info that you might give me would be greatly appreciated.
