rozerem

Avatar f tn Hello! Which sleeping pill is stronger, Belsomra or Rozerem? I take 2 tablets of Belsomra at night for 20 mg plus 2 tablets of Donormil. Should I try Rozerem?
Avatar f tn I have chronic insomnia amid anxiety disorder. Can I use Rozerem at a dosage of 16 mg if 8 mg will not help?
Avatar f tn My doctor has recommended Seroquel for my insomnia. Since i am a parkinsons patient, I was wondering if this ,might make my parkinsons worse?
Avatar n tn She is currently in dosage of 25/150, 25/150, 25/100, and around 0.16 requip before sleep together with Rozerem 8mg and Zyprexa 1.25 mg. (I forgot to mention Zyprexa in previous post) But strangest thing is she becomes much more difficulty in falling and staying asleep. In theory, if the dyskinesia/teeth grinding went away, she should feel much better and more easier to get into sleep. But it does not.
Avatar m tn Finally, I hope you changed the dosage of your Trazadone with the knowledge of your provider. It can be dangerous to "play" with your medications without the approval of your doctor, since the doctor prescribed the initial dosage for a specific reason.
603015 tn?1329862973 I believe according to one post I saw melatonin is not available in Canada anymore because it is unsafe. Rozerem however, is an FDA approved medication. I was informed by my psychopharmocologist that Rozerem is completely non addictive and works differently from all other known sleep aides though you could look at the medication website and ask your own psychiatrist to confirm.
Avatar m tn Has anyone tried taking rozerem to help sleep when tapering? I tried Abien a few years ago and it wired me all night. Last night, I took ,1 clonidine and 2 soma and I just knew that would put me to sleep and all it did was give me a big buzz and i was wired for a few hours. I know I just need some sleep!
Avatar f tn I was recently prescribed Rozerem for anxiety and panic attacks starting dosage of 15mg. then eventually up to 30 mg.. It really put me to sleep my first few days .I am scared to increase the dosage to 10 mg.. My concern is after the sedation wears off, will I have to increase the dosage and will my body grow dependent on it for sleep. I ask my psychiatrist and he said it should not.
Avatar n tn She also has a sleep disorder that we finally saw a pediatric sleep specialist for-- now she uses a blue spectrum light every morning. Occasionally, we use Rozerem 8mg (prescribed by the peds sleep specialist) --but only occasionally when we are unable to do her light therapy. Is there any connection between sleep disorders & early adrenarche? And is this adrenarche when it is only her axillary area involved?
Avatar m tn t induce at night but feel sleepy at day time thus disturbing my working days.I want to start with Rozerem for inducing sleep.I wish to take this medication for a month or two and discontinue and get my sleep naturally as usual. Can the sleep disorder rebound after discontinuation? I've also been taking sertraline since many years, could these two drugs interact,if yes what are the effects?
Avatar m tn One good option you could ask your psychiatrist about is the medication Rozerem which works to adjust the sleep cycle and is safe and non addictive. There are other options as well but that's one worth asking about. Also it might be a simple matter of timing. If a medication keeps you awake at night you could ask your psychiatrist if you could take it earlier in the day and see if that helps. Discuss all this with them and see what they say.
Avatar m tn It appears to be similar in efficacy and like Ambien is meant for short term use only. Unless you've tried it Rozerem is one alternative that unlike Ambien or the medication you mentioned or Lunesta does not have a potential for a person to build up a tolerance to it and is an FDA approved medication that works like melatonin to adjust the sleep cycle. You could ask your psychiatrist about that.
Avatar f tn It's been recommended to me that I begin to *think* about stopping my Lunesta. Ive been on Lunesta for YEARS (since probably 2006). I have NEVER abused the Lunesta. I've never taken it at inapproriate times. I've never doubled my dose. Nothing like that ever. I take it and go to sleep. There are PLENTY of nights I dont take it - especially on the weekend when I am not trying to force myself to go to sleep at a certain time.
Avatar f tn Trazodone or Rozerem but, in the end, none of them are a solution to insomnia because they don;t work well in the short term and stop working in the long-term. CBT is the only permanent, effective solution. Dr. Jacobs www.cbtforinsomnia.
Avatar f tn After i had my youngest son, the dr phoned in some meds once i was home from the hospital and he had the dosage wrong too. The pharmacist had a sticky note on the bag and bottle and told me not to take as much as the lable said to because it could damage the liver. Just be careful and dont take as much as the bottle says to. Youre supposed to keep your aceto intake below 4,000 mg at the max for a 24 hr period.
Avatar n tn Can anyone let me know if Rozerem 8mg (RX sleep aid) and Prozac 20 mg (antidepressant) are safe to take with methadone (15mg daily) I am detoxing after 15 years on MMT and have slowly "tapered" my dose from 60mg daily to 15mg daily. I am having some insomnia & depression/antiety issues related to my husband being on the waiting list for a liver transplant. Just want to make sure i'm not gonna "croak" if I take the other meds.
Avatar f tn Hello! Can I take Belsomra and Rozerem together if the effect of one drug is not enough?
Avatar m tn these are the medications that i take now.....150 milligrams of trazadone at bedtime, 120 milligrams of geodon at bedtime, 1milligram 3 times a day of lorazapam and 150 milligrams of wellbutrin 2 times a day.
Avatar m tn One known option for sleep (although it has no mood stabilization properties) is the medication Rozerem that works to adjust the sleep cycle and is safe and non addictive. You could ask your psychiatrist about this as well.
741315 tn?1232458427 Ambien is not meant for everyday use as a sleeping aide as it can be addictive. Lunesta or Rozerem are two better choices. Rozerem works in the same manner as Melatonin and actually adjusts the sleep cycle. Those are some ideas to speak to your psychiatrist about.
Avatar f tn Best to ask your doc this question, as that person has examined you and knows your full med history. Suggest continuing to work on your anxiety disorder and as you make progress expect your sleep to improve. Ask also about using a CBT sleep training program as a permanent, sustainable, and substance-free solution.
