Hello! Which sleeping pill is stronger, Belsomra or Rozerem? I take 2 tablets of Belsomra at night for 20 mg plus 2 tablets of Donormil. Should I try Rozerem?
She is currently in dosage of 25/150, 25/150, 25/100, and around 0.16 requip before sleep together with Rozerem 8mg and Zyprexa 1.25 mg. (I forgot to mention Zyprexa in previous post)
But strangest thing is she becomes much more difficulty in falling and staying asleep. In theory, if the dyskinesia/teeth grinding went away, she should feel much better and more easier to get into sleep. But it does not.
Finally, I hope you changed the dosage of your Trazadone with the knowledge of your provider. It can be dangerous to "play" with your medications without the approval of your doctor, since the doctor prescribed the initial dosage for a specific reason.
Has anyone tried taking rozerem to help sleep when tapering? I tried Abien a few years ago and it wired me all night. Last night, I took ,1 clonidine and 2 soma and I just knew that would put me to sleep and all it did was give me a big buzz and i was wired for a few hours.
I know I just need some sleep!
I was recently prescribed Rozerem for anxiety and panic attacks starting dosage of 15mg. then eventually up to 30 mg.. It really put me to sleep my first few days .I am scared to increase the dosage to 10 mg.. My concern is after the sedation wears off, will I have to increase the dosage and will my body grow dependent on it for sleep. I ask my psychiatrist and he said it should not.
She also has a sleep disorder that we finally saw a pediatric sleep specialist for-- now she uses a blue spectrum light every morning. Occasionally, we use Rozerem 8mg (prescribed by the peds sleep specialist) --but only occasionally when we are unable to do her light therapy. Is there any connection between sleep disorders & early adrenarche? And is this adrenarche when it is only her axillary area involved?

One good option you could ask your psychiatrist about is the medication Rozerem which works to adjust the sleep cycle and is safe and non addictive. There are other options as well but that's one worth asking about. Also it might be a simple matter of timing. If a medication keeps you awake at night you could ask your psychiatrist if you could take it earlier in the day and see if that helps. Discuss all this with them and see what they say.
It appears to be similar in efficacy and like Ambien is meant for short term use only. Unless you've tried it Rozerem is one alternative that unlike Ambien or the medication you mentioned or Lunesta does not have a potential for a person to build up a tolerance to it and is an FDA approved medication that works like melatonin to adjust the sleep cycle. My wife suffered over 10 years with intestal problem (deverticulites) they even priscribed her treatment for worms,I suffered shortness of breath and slight chest pain,after 6 months of tests, result, nothing wrong with you!!! How i cured my self, it was stress, and shortness of breath was mostly when southerly hot winds with Sahara sand. well sir won't keep you longer,Tks for your advise, hope to report back if any inprovement. Can anyone let me know if Rozerem 8mg (RX sleep aid) and Prozac 20 mg (antidepressant) are safe to take with methadone (15mg daily) I am detoxing after 15 years on MMT and have slowly "tapered" my dose from 60mg daily to 15mg daily. I am having some insomnia & depression/antiety issues related to my husband being on the waiting list for a liver transplant. Just want to make sure i'm not gonna "croak" if I take the other meds.
these are the medications that i take now.....150 milligrams of trazadone at bedtime, 120 milligrams of geodon at bedtime, 1milligram 3 times a day of lorazapam and 150 milligrams of wellbutrin 2 times a day.

I am new to this forman , I start treatment in Jan. the Dr told me my dosage is pegasys 180 micrograms once week and ribapack 400-400 2 ties a day. Does this sound like what most of you all are taking. He told me it will be 24 weeks of treatment. do any of you all feel well enough to work while you take these meds? Do you drive ? UND @ 6 weeks of 24 weeks. Horrible sides ! Anyone know if dosage reduction would be a a possibility? Thank you for your time.
Best to ask your doc this question, as that person has examined you and knows your full med history. Suggest continuing to work on your anxiety disorder and as you make progress expect your sleep to improve. Ask also about using a CBT sleep training program as a permanent, sustainable, and substance-free solution.
