My dr gave me script for clonidine hcl 0.025mg take one in morning.Have not tried yet but i think i am going to put my mind to quiteing i hate having to do a pill to function and having to keep arms coverd.So does anyone know if it will help me get threw this,i also have it in0.1mg but told to cut in four.
I have been taken Ropinirole for sometime now and it helps a little. As for sleep,I get very little of.
To know for sure, increase your acid (take hcl tabs with a meal, have a table spoon of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar before eating) and if it doesn't go away then you have high acid levels and should take a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate in water to neutralise ithe acid after eating.

Hi, Not sure about everyone else but I know that for me the restless legs is one of the worst symptoms. I told my doctor that I was struggling and he prescribed me Ropinirole tablets, one to take before bedtime. I took one last night and, fingers crossed, it seemed to work. Most of you are probably aware of this but for those who aren't, it might be worth a try.
The pharmacies keep close tabs on the oxy scripts.Only monthly scripts.You even have to show ID evrytime and they keep tabs on how much you are using. Atleast were I am from anyways. Sounds like she must have had more doctors than 1 and used more than 1 pharmacy. Anyways she had a problem and the ending is very sad. Again I am sorry for the horrable out come.
Thanks. Yes I drink a lot of water which causes me to urinated frequently. But my doctor warns me about water intoxication from too much water. I've been given 'pilocarpine hcl 5mg tabs' to produce saliva. Concerned about taking this. Haven't been given any meds for hyperthyroidism as of yet.
Hi, I take Ropinirole (Requip), and this mefication over the years has worked really well. But as you know what might work great for one patient might not work great for another. But maybe worth a try.
I would like to ask a question of Dr. Lupo. I have chronic pancreatitis diagnosed as chronic 6 years ago. I am on stron pain meds and have to fight the insurance company to get them, sometimes not get them. I have increased pain in the last few months and the meds are just not cutting it. I have been to my gastro/pancreas specialist and had some tests done and I will be going on a transplant list. I am taking Methadone HCL 10 mg. 2 tabs 4x day & have been taking 600 mcg.

I was dx with RLS after feeling like my legs had a mind of their own....ropinirole 2x a day.
I only recently learned that Ropinirole should be taken several hours before going to sleep. Made all the difference for me. I had been popping it 1/2 hr. before bedtime and wondering why it wasn't working. By taking it earlier, the sensations are gone before I get into bed.
Idaho, Have you tried Ropinirole? Seems like your symptom is mainly pain, rather than restlessness, so I'm not sure if this will work. I have had pain, but not to the same degree. Worth a try, though.
So they have in ropinirole (I forgot how to spell it) but 1mg doesn't seem to be working. :( what other meds can I request?
Early on I was diagnosed with primary paradoxical syndrome, but was negative at a later date...I take Midodrine, (rencently started) and gabapentin, baclofen, ropinirole which I have been on these 3 for years
What is causing this is extreme sleepiness?? I cannot function...any meds or test?? I'm open to suggestions to help me function...
The Symptoms for the over production of HCL, and the under production of HCL, are virtually identical. The both cause Reflux, Belching, Bloating, Abdominal Discomfort, Irrecular Stools, etc. Unfortunately many doctors are prescribing Proton Pump Inhibitors or pH Blocking Medications to their Patiens which is making them Achlorhydric.
Apple cider vinegar is a way to cleanse the body and balance acid and alkaline, but it doesn't increase stomach acid on a permanent basis. Betaine HCL is used for gallstones, not for stomach acidity, since it doesn't do that either. The reason is that neither stays in the stomach, so it can't permanently alter the acid/alkaline balance. The caution about HCL is more about using pure HCL food grade.

I am recovering from Bulimia after 20 years. I have digestive issues and now found I am gluten intolerant. I found since stopping gluten my urges has almost vanished except for around 3 pm ish. I struggle but doing 90% better.
I have gastritis and gerds but do not digest well. I have severe food allergies and lots of inflammation in the gut and asthma .
