ropinirole generic

So they have in ropinirole (I forgot how to spell it) but 1mg doesn't seem to be working. :( what other meds can I request?

I called again today, and she gave me a prescription for Requip (since there is a generic for it, and is less expensive than Mirapex). She started me on the starter pack. I take 1/2 of a .25 mg tablet for 4 days @ bedtime, then 1 full .50 tablet for 4 days @ bedtime, finally then 2 tablets 1 mg after that. I am concerened that since I have been taking 1 mg of Mirapex, that the dose of Requip won't be enough.

My pulmomologist gave me ropinirole (Requip) because i have so much movement in my limbs, especially my feet, when I am sleeping and when I am awake too. I was looking up the drug and i found this side effect........ 'Some people using ropinirole have developed a gambling habit. It is not known whether ropinirole actually causes this effect. Talk with your doctor if you believe you have an unusual urge to gamble while you are taking ropinirole.

I have been taken Ropinirole for sometime now and it helps a little. As for sleep,I get very little of.

My RLS started over 20 years ago and has been really bad for about 15 years. Ropinirole, once I was put on it in 2007, was a Godsend and just about covers it as long as I don't miss a dose (currently 4 x daily starting at 10am) My consultant has now suggested trying Slow Mag (Slow release magnesium) in hopes that I can reduce the number of Ropinirole I have to take to be able to function normally.

I told my doctor that I was struggling and he prescribed me Ropinirole tablets, one to take before bedtime. I took one last night and, fingers crossed, it seemed to work. So right now I am currently taking ziprasidone 80 mg, chantix 1mg, topamax 50mg 3x day, and ropinirole for side effects 1 mg once a day. Starting dosage is around 0.5mg but it depends on your physiology. They may try Mirapex, Gabapentin, or other drugs. Both results are same but generic is much cheaper than branded. there are some minor side effects like headache etc. but overall safe. I recommended to use generic drugs. I am having to switch to the generic version of Lexapro as it is now available. Insurance wants the change and I am OK with it as the cost will be less. My question is has anyone been on it and can they tell a difference??

Does anyone know if generic Cytomel is as good? My doctor told me never to get generic Synthroid. She does not know about the Cytomel.
