Hi, I'm a 35 year old woman and I've been suffering from vertigo and dizziness for about 8 months now with tinnitus and hearing loss in my left ear. (I've had these symptoms on and off for about 10 years). Every doctor I've seen has mentioned Menieres but now my ENT consultant has said it's low down on the list and has now referred me to a neurologist and for an MRI. I'm terrified that there is something seriously wrong with me.

It has been four days now but I have this weird pressure in my temple that doesn't go away. It almost feels as though it radiates to the bone behind my ear. Many AD's have side effects that affect the libido, guess it applies to both sex es. As far as I know all AD's have this drastic effect . Hopefully you'll find one that's OK for you . Good luck.

Hi. I am on week 60/72, second round of treatment. I was really really sick after shot for first few months and then this resolved and became tolerable at least. I now find that I am having these same significant side effects later in tx. This didn't happen last round, but I went 48 then. Anyone else have this happen?

i had similar side effects when coming off the depo shot. I thought i was pregnant and took 3 tests. they went away but it took about 6mo. My docs checked my hormones and pituitary gland and they we all fine. It's probably not the effexor but ck w/ your doc anyway.

I just googled Avastin side effects are there are many sites that have lots of info on there. Also, you could google the manufacturer or ask your oncology center for some fact sheets.... Just a thought.
