Wow what a small world. We all know it's business. I know it's all about insurance. I hate to see any drugs cost without insurance. My father has MDS and is taking Revlimid. Without Medicare or insurance or without medicine company's financial aid, it's 10,000 dollars for 30 day supply. But with Medicare it's 300 dollars. But when you represent a company, you are the image of what the company represents. The system works sometimes and it does work else where.

I started by calling the pharmaceutical company to inquire about assistance, but they have canceled their Provigil assistance program and also told me that depression is one of the few illnesses for which they do not provide assistance anyway. I then looked into other assistance programs, but they require enrollees to be without insurance, and giving up my health insurance is just not practical.

I have applied to get some sort of disability assistance and was told I we make too much money and I am too healthy. What they don't take into account is, it is all the medicines and Dr.'s visits that MAKE me this healthy, and they don't factor in what you pay out in insurance, dr copays and med copays to KEEP me "Hea;thy!". They asked for my social security number address how many in the house and annual income and my insurance info and dosage amount.
