From the areas you want to reduce versus the areas you want to keep, I'm guessing you probably carry all your weight up top - the complete opposite to me, I'm very jealous.

Avatar m tn Lower than adequate calorie intake can also cause weight gain, due to the stress hormones kicking in. Start with a healthy breakfast, moderate lunch and light dinner. Also keep a track of calorie intake and your work out. With gradual consistent efforts, you should be able to lose weight as desired in a healthy way. Hope this helps. Take care!

BUT!!! You can exercise target areas and tone and ELONGATE those muscle groups. That is where the long, lean look comes in. Some people choose to only eat less and they lose weight just fine, but they NEVER get that firm look. WHY NOT GO FOR THE GUSTO?

When one cuts down on calories, the body sends a signal to the brain which in turn turns on the ‘stress hormones’ and the body switches into the ‘starvation mode’ and paradoxically one may notice no change in weight or an increased weight. One would need adequate amount of calories to support the basic metabolic functions and if you work out vigorously, your required calorie intake rises.

It is important to know that a diet plan is not about cutting down calories; it’s about ‘healthy’ eating. With cutting on diet one may initially lose weight but this may remain static or increase later due to fat accumulation.

He said the hormons are good now, not perfect, BUT better. My maximum weight was 100kg. I did this big diet 3 years ago and lost 22kg, so went down to 78kg. Since then, I've been having ups and downs but now I'm 93kg again and I can't lose weight and stablize. I always lose some and then gain it back. It's tiring.

Avatar f tn If you want to lose weight, you need to learn to eat healthier, better proportions and not under stress. Make sure this drug does not interfere with conception as well. If you are 138 pounds (63kgs) than doens't seem to me that you are overweight at all, depending on how tall you are. The question though was does over weight cause an issue for conceiving. Yes, it can, but if what I am reading is correct, I wouldn't see that as being overweight. How tall are you?
