Avatar f tn s in the past and doubt I have one for I am in no pain whatsoever, I am 115 pounds and eat healthy so I doubt diabetes, and I dont think it is overactive bladder for I read that you get an "urge" to pee but dont actually go a whole ton. I don't have medical insurance so it would be nice to know if I should be running to the dr. or not? Ideas on what it is?

Avatar n tn Go see a doctor and get tested. Frequent urination is one sign of type 2 diabetes. It also could be a sign of a disease you do not feel until more severe such as bladder or urinary tract infection, an enlarged prostrate if male, vaginitis if female, or possibly a tumor. Also comes to mind is from drinking excessive amounts of fluids.
Avatar m tn I suffer from frequent urination between 2am and 6 in the morning. This happens every half hour, lots of urine, no burning, no pain.I have had blood tests, cystoscopy and an IVP done, all came back negative. I don;t drink a lot since i never get thirsty, a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of water for my blood pressure tablets. I'm not swollen but 2yrs ago i had a back op for a pinched nerve, could this be the cause? Please help!

Avatar m tn If you do not suffer from any diabetes or UTIs then follow up with a nephrologist to understand the reason for increase in frequency of urination. I would suggest you to eat healthy and maintain a normal BMI, start regular cardio exercises. Take care!
Avatar n tn I know that frequent urination is a sign of diabetes so I am concerned. Are there any other signs of diabetes I should look for? Any other possible explanations? I would love to put my mind at ease.
393893 tn?1283551230 Hi, I am no doctor but Ive recently been diagnosed with UTI and then prostatitis. I just wanted to tell you that you dont necessarily experience pain when urinating nor do you necessarily have to urinate blood for it to be a UTI. In any case, I believe prostatitis and UTI's have symptoms that are very common and if your husband gets himself checked its always positive because whatever it is it seems to be just the beginning. Hope this helps until the doctors give you their advice.
Avatar f tn I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.
Avatar f tn My bf is 27. He has to pee about every 20 minutes when he lays down. He has a hernia but the frequent urination isnt constant. It flares up from time to time. Avatar f tn I am 25 and recently, i started experiencing frequent urination. I had side pain for a day so i got urine test done and it came out normal. The doctor still prescribed me antibiotic (Enoxabid) for UTI but it did not improve my condition. Now i continue experiencing frequent urination. Every 1.5 to 2 hours, i feel the urge to urinate and since the last 2-3 days i am also experiencing slight burning in the vagina.
Avatar f tn t have neuropathy bc my diabetes is managed pretty good, but would this dugsr in my urine cause frequent urination and burning when urinating for 10 days so far? When do these things clear up? Thank you.
Avatar n tn I have been experiencing frequent urination for 5 years now (I have to pee every 30mins or so). Its absolutely awful and sometimes I have a burning sensation after I pee. I've noticed though that when I'm ovulating and I have lots of discharge the frequency is slightly less. I've gone for several tests over the years; it's not uti, cysts or diabetes and I don't think it's an STD since I am a virgin.
358018 tn?1200451427 Also, I have no family illnesses such as diabetes. I know frequent urination is a symptom of that too. I'm a 22 year old female if that helps.
Avatar f tn I have been experiencing frequent urination for the past 2 months. I do not experience any other symptoms. I do not have any burning or pain. I just feel the urge to urinate every 1-2 hours. The color of my urine is also normal. There has been no change in the amount of fluids i consume. My thyroid is normal and i am not diabetic. Also, my urinalysis and urine culture have come out normal. What could be causing this?
Avatar f tn I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT! Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
Avatar m tn ) but I have IBD and when its bad I have in the past got bad pains in my sides at the back and going to the loo more in the day, I was tested several times for UTIs and they thought it was that and i was put on 4 different courses of antibitoics but they never bothered to check the lab results for the urine sample which always came back clear with nothing to culture. Iv just been put back on steroids for IBD, but i dont know why i have these urinary symptoms with it?
Avatar f tn Urinary tract (which consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the urethra) infections are very common in young women. Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, passing of blood in urine and even fever. The most common causes of repeated UTIs are kidney stones and diabetes mellitus. Women who are sexually active, who use diaphragms for birth control, and/or are past menopause are at an increased risk for urinary tract infections.
Avatar f tn Hi, Your symptoms may be suggestive of chronic ill health in the form of chronic fatigue syndrome, anaemia, deficiency of vitamins etc. Also for the pain in abdomen and frequent urination you should check out with a gynaecologist for an examination. If necessary and ultrasound scan may be done. Discuss with your Doctor. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn If there are stressful situations affecting him, try to make sure he has some relaxation time, or quiet time to spend with his family. After about 3 to 5 months, the frequent urination symptoms dissapeared for my son. I hope this helps. Take care.
Avatar m tn I ignored this for a month and it ended up being chlamydia. I too had a short unprotected encounter for 1 minute and I caught it.
