m on propecia...however, my doctor (being pretty cool), prescribed me 5mg Finasteride (i.e. Propecia). I split the pills in half, which is pretty close to the dosage for Propecia. The bottle lasts me two months, and costs me $5 because finasteride is covered on my insurance. I'm 28 years old, soooo....the insurance company DID need my doctor to verify the prescription. But like I said, he is cool :) See if your doc will hook you up the same!

Hello I am a 28 year old male 5'10 165lbs and over the past year I noticed quite a few scary symptoms which im not sure as to what the cause is. One of the symptoms I have been experiencing is bed wetting which is something I have not done since I was a kid but within the past year have urinated three times in bed, I went into the doctor and they checked my urine sample but it came back well within the normal range.
Age of 24, take propecia. My sexual desire dropped, no morning erections, and my ejaculate volume noticeably decreased. After a month, and a horrible sexual experience, I through out my propecia. Now 30, don’t get morning erections. Rarely wake up and find my penis a bit enlarged....but this is a rare event. My sexual desire has greatly diminished, and if it was a 10 before propecia, I would say it’s now a 5.
It could be that your testosterone is low, your thyroid is low, or you may just be getting male pattern baldness. Even though it does'nt happen in your family does'nt mean it can't. Yes, there are treatments available, but you need to discuss these with your Dr.
Hello I have been using Rogaine and Propecia 1mg a day for the last 6 years , my alts and so on have always been high around 150 , my gastro doctor 6 years ago it is fine to be using it , now I have stage 11 Fibrosis and will
start treatment probably in the next year or so I wil try and wait for telaprevir .
Is it safe to use rogaine & propecia while on treatment ?
I had no problems before this period with a strong ejaculation. There also seems to be less volume of fluid.( I am a 40 year old male and had a vasectomy 2 years ago.) Is this a sign of a prostate problem? Also, I don't know if this is pure coincidence or not but the problem seemed to start after I started supplementing with "saw palmetto" for prostate health.
t know what to do.. should I try Monday Wednesday Friday propecia? I heard there is a 5mg propecia pill you can take once a week.. can that keep my ED at bay maybe? Can once a week maybe twice propecia keep my hair but my ED away? I don't get why this is happening to me now.. But what if that starts up my ED again.. what if that ruins the recovery I've been making off the pill.. I don't want permanent ED.. I'm only 22.. I don't want to lose my hair either..
My wife and I conceived and recently lost the baby at 10 weeks. Doctors advised she had a blighted ovum. I am concerned about my fertility as a male. If I had fertility issues, would she have gotten pregnant in the first place? Does a blighted ovum mean that I could have underlying fertility issues? Hi - sorry for the long rant. I’m a 33 yr old male with no prior health issues. I take 1mg propecia for hair loss (been on it for a few years).
6 months ago I started getting urge to urinate frequently. Not extremely excessive but more than normal. I would just feel the urge. I can hold it in easily for hours. No issues with stream or flow. Symptoms lasted 2 weeks and went away on their own.
They have come back now.
I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. Unfortunately, I appear to be in that small minority. Once my erection problems surfaced, I began looking for a solution. I do not want to stop taking Propecia because it has done wonders for my hair.
About three months ago I started taking propecia because I thought my hair was falling out too young. I experienced several side effects from the drug including total loss of sex drive, difficulty maintaining erections, loss of spontaneous erections/morning erections. I stopped taking propecia within 3 weeks due to an inability to deal with these side effects. Things seemed to be slowly getting slightly better as the weeks and months progressed however now some new issues have been arising.
